1992 s-13 hatch

Ok so new to the nissan game but here we go . my son just bought his first 240 and sometimes you have to hit the white box on the left kick panel to get it to start why so lost . the service manual says nothing and there like impossible to find in missouri. please help

I think its called the tcu .camera broke , i tried another one it did great for a day then had to kick it again . i guess i will start tracing wires down

You are very dependent on the skill and knowledge [or ignorance] of whoever did the preceeding modifacations. If you do have the "documentation" or whatever paper trail exists, please proceed slowly! I really hope you can pull this off!

By the way! Are you sure this is a 240SX and not an original 240 [like 1969 plus] vehicle? They are REALLY different!

Lets see 1992 s-13 240sx 5 speed manual ka24de motor . i said i was new to working on 240's not cars and the way it looks these things have tons of electrical issues anyways just like his headlights that wont go down and yeah i tried everything on here to fix them off this site also but no luck and im not going to buy a new switch when thin one is perfectly clean . well anyway back to the white box makes no since at all . i have 2 of them one will work for a few days then bamm wont start ya kick it a few times it starts and the other one is the same . i have followed the wires up as far as i can before they join the wrapped main loom with no breaks or bare spots found . so does anybody have an idea where else to check the service manual has nothing on this subject .
