Good evening everyone.

Has anyone changed their stock headlights to projector lights? I've been thinking about it lately and have been looking on Ebay at kits:

It seems all the kits I've come across state that no modification needed. I'm wondering if this is true? I'm not an experienced electrician, but I have replaced the headlights when they've burned out with stock replacement lights.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks for your time!

...Sorry, I just realized that I should have posted in the forum "Nissan Online Mechanic".

General consensus is, that light quality with the cheapo ebay headlights is crap. They have poor cutoff, and xenon bulbs burn out quickly. I would suggest looking at some Cibie sealed beam headlamps, a few members on here have them, and so far everyone seems to like them.

Here is a review Adrian did when he got his.

I have the ebay euro HID "like" headlights and are bright and work great. They are very similar and I am going to add HID actual kit to it. Looking to get 12k. It all depends on your finaces. You can get the Hella H4 housings if you want the real good ones.

I have the projector headlights, and the bulbs haven't burnt out yat. I've had them for about a year. The light dispersion is OK, not great like the ones that come on the bmw's and mercedies. But they work.
