What motor do you have? Have you noticed any coolant loss, or coolant oil mixing? How old is the thermostat, and radiator cap? Is there smoke coming from the tailpipe at all?

If it is not consuming or leaking coolant, I would say replace the cap and thermostat, then bleed the system. If this does not fix the problem, you may have deeper issues.

You should be able to get everything for less than $30 as long as you dong go with the really expensive stuff.

flush the system with distilled water, and when youre finished adding the coolant, make sure you "burp" it to purge any air pockets.

mine acted the same way, and it ended up being the thermostat, pretty cheap and easy to replace
