whoever charged you ANYTHING for looking at the transmission owes you some money and an apology! if its out of fluid, the gasket is the likely culprit... your not going to like the price that they are going to quote you for it either. I will call up the shops I took it to angry as hell and see how long it takes them to hang up, then run over there to the owner even more pissed off. If you have attempted to drive it without fluid, your transmission is probably about shot now - I dont know what to tell you other then get those damn shops that looked at it to pay for it. the BBB would love to hear about how inexperienced and unprofessional they are, and tell the owner thats just what your going to report

What cup holders?

My Q has nothing. I have to resort to being thirsty. I tried holding a cup of sugar free lemonade in the center console, with the arm rest down to secure it. I took a left and looked down to see the cup spilling it's lemony goodness all over my front passenger seat. I've not had a drop to drink since that day. It's been like two months since that happened.
