no i've never dynoed my car... To be honest, HP doesnt mean much to me, I can think about numbers all day! 600HP in an SR20 is not the same as 600HP in a LS1, so numbers are only as good as their source!

Heres what I do know... Its a hell of a lot more fun to drive, a hell of a lot faster 0-60, and I lost about 100lbs. I dont need to spend money for a machine to tell me i've gained something...

Im not in any way calling you out or anything, I'm just saying...

Haha, Its cool. I completly understand. I would love to feel the 5 speed Q power, but its just not fitting into the catagory im going for. A shift kitted Auto will work fine for me.I got the Civic for rippin around corners kickin the clutch.

Any ways, back on topic. If it feels faster to u (i agree that it is)Then go for it!Im got a cold air on mine, lovin it. I got an stock integra (double size that stock civic) on the civic, and thats not louder at all, and i still feel it in the seat of my pants! haha It keeps me happy and entertained

Rocking keeps things interesting. But the really important question is and always will be: will gaining a potential 10hp on an already 300hp motor offset the fact that cows will be sucked into and pulverizing your cylinders? You decide.

I'm not a fan of cows. if i could suck in a cow through my q45 maf, i would have saved the world from methane pollution.

but seriously, I'm driving around with the stock air box, cause it keeps all the small children from getting sucked in.

Thats because the Q is a ferocious BEAST under all of the Sleeper Skin.

Here is a picture of the melted cat that was on the left bank. I had my car on the lift and decided to check into my suspicions and knocked on the cats, one sounded loose inside. I cut it off and was shocked at what i saw.So I welded in a new one.

The Q is alot louder, but not to much changed on the butt dyno to my surprize.

I'm taking her drag racing this sunday at Barona. check out this site for more info. http://www.sdclubracing.com

90-93 cats are more robust than later cats when the price of platnium rose significantly.

One can see that by their shape, length and weight............why later exhaust are not a direct replacement for 90-93.

We see many melted cats on 94 and newer, especially passengerside for some reason.

Always a good idea to install additional pressure ports prior to main cats so you can read back pressure without removing O2.

Each 1 psi is ~ 2HP at 6,000 rpm.
