Good cheap intakes/exhausts FTW! Dont forget the slips for posting times and such. Do you have stock times to compare?

Just came back from the track. it's 2:35am saturday. I did not get to run my car b/c i forgot my helmet.May be i will run it next time on another track.

Also i want to ask you guys something, how come my car cut out sometimes at 3500-5000rpm? when i let off the gaz throttle and press it again, it works fine. I already cleaned out the TPS sensor, the air flow maf sensor but it still doesn't feel to work right. any ideas?

Thank you for taking care of your car. Some on here dont realize the ff as part of a tune up. Check your fuel pressure lately? around 34 idle and 43 off idle. IIRC.

hey,i looked all over ebay and there is no kit(pipe, filter and bracket) for KA24E. they sell filters but not a kit for my 89 240sx. anyway, if you find a kit on eBay for that cheap, send me the link. In the mean time, i'm making my own home amde intake. peace out

Peace out

hey, sorry it took so long to respond. The car idle fine. I even have to replace some sensor and some vaccum lines but still having the same problem. Somebody just told me that it may be the fuel pump going dead.I'm planning on replacing that too to see if it make any difference. do anybody know where the fuel pump is located on an 89 nissan 240sx? also how many wires go to the TPS sensor on an 89 nissan 240sx? mine only have two but seems like supposed to be three. Everybody is welcomed to answer these questions. Thank all yo. Thanks.

The fuel pump is in the fuel tank. its in the trunk under the carpet.its on the passenger side. The tps has only 2 wires just like yours. How did you make your intake? I can't seem to find any parts that I need.

i tried telling you fifty ****ing times but the drop king keep having to leave. I dont kow how you only have two wires out the tps mine has like 6 total. scruffy go to a pipe place(place that sells pipes) tell the guy " ***** I need a mutha ****ing 45* 2.5~3" inside diameter pipe with legs about 10" long( so you can go cold short ram) ,and maybe a 22* bend as well. Pop the hood and take a few lengths. Or egay it with a 91 intake and get to cutting that *****.

well I assumed he was talking about the wires coming out of the plug. In that case I have 5 wires coming out of the tps. 3 on top and 2 from the plug.

I thought it was a 90 degree bend?

you could probably run a 90* if you come out from the tb enough, but I will go ahead and say a 90* will take about 3x's much time to travel as the 45* same size i.d. = less flow. Thats why I said maybe even a 22* bend for a straighter, smoother path.

There is sensor attached to the intake manifold then there is a plug that you pluged into that sensor. how many wires is on that plug? checks the pics out.

I'll take some pictures tomorrow morning. I think it's my fuel pump going out. It will be replaced next week.

Take the AIV hose off and cap both ends to notice a nice little power increase..

hi chris. my setup is like the one that Peaskja has. It's only temporary. May be we can get together and ride around town sometimes. what's your schedule like?

acecool what are you talking about? All that is for is to let intake air into the exhaust to warm the cat converter and o2sens. up to operating temps. I have mine plugged at the manifold and no support for it on the intake I made. It did not give any power increase. Maybe if you put a filter on the exhaust side and intake side too.

hi,Just to make sure that it was the fuel pump, i got a fuel pump out of Peaskja's car and try it out but the car still doing the same thing (cut out and choke out at certain rpm, been loud but not going fast). so it actually makes me think that my fuel pump was working alright. My friend brandon was also saying that it could be the fuel relay so i'm thinking of looking at it.If it doesn't work, i will no longer know what to do. anybody have any other ideas?
