I have inherited a 1965 Fairlady that has been sitting in a barn since the early 1970s. It ran when it was put in there. The engine appears to be in good shape but the body has some rust spots. I am located in West Michigan and am interested in selling the vehicle.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to sell and an approximate value? Thanks for your help!!

Well, maybe check the VIN and share that online. See if you have 1500 (early '65) or 1600 (later '65) engine. See if you can get it to run and drive. Post pictures. Check for rust and rats nests. Flush and replace all the fluids and the tires.

Check this site out for assessing value. You can even plug in the vin on the bottom. It would need to be a running vehicle to be considered fair.

Here's a listing for one across the pond. It has pictures so you can compare to yours.

Thanks for the comments - I will post the VIN and some photos. It is definitely a fixer-upper - I do not have the time or engine mechanical skills to get it running. I am interested in selling it to someone who is looking for a new project.

I have one offer for $2,000 as is but I think that is too low. What do you think?

Try again. You should have access now.
