first off this is NOT a build, i just needed a place to put what ive done to my car so i can look back at it after i most likely crash it up at the drift events this year,

well anyways my names Daniel. This is my 180.

when i got it, it was just a shell, no motor, no transmission, no wheels, no diff, no nothing, it was yellow, and i decided to make it into a battleship looking thing because of the widebody it had riveted into it, it just reminded me of old world war 2 planes and battleships (lol i watch alot of history channel)

Image
so i went to the store and grabbed alot of Gunmetal paint and threw that on, it didnt turn out well at all. so i had to do it a few times. But the exterior still needed alot to TLC
Image

then i traded my old totalled car for a SR20 set up.
Image

So i threw that in, there was no need for custom wiring because i bought a new harness and i have a JDM dash harness so it was plug and play
Image

I started it up and it started just fine, but the SMIC looked alil off in my opinion
Image

so i got a FMIC set up that im going to get new piping made for
Image

eventully i finished up my interior after awhile on craigslist, now i just need a kouki cluster

eventully i wanted to make it look more battleshipy so i found the battleship code for the u.s.s washington and sprayed that on the side of my car
Image

but thats it for now.

my future mods are in this list

coils5 lugz32 brake setup
nice wheels (looking for mb battles)
kouki tails and spoiler
Carbon fiber hood

im not looking for crazy HP set up because id rather not spend all this time building it just to blow it up and wait another month to get a new motor,

im still in high school so i cant update with new parts everyday but when i get new parts il update this,

yes my cars not in alot of peoples taste, but im not picking up girls with this or nothing, its just to get sideways and look alil more different doing it

This looks like a pretty good start. Is that a real 180 or just a rhd conversion? And props for still being in highschool.

There is not point of importing a car unless your only using it as a track car.I don't understand why you would want to copy someone elses car, you got to be unique man. And I would get rid of the front bumper I think it looks like poo.

im not making it exactly like his, i got some different plans (different skirts, rear bumper, no rear diffuser, etc) but i just love the battleship look, and yeah i need a new bumper, im thinking of just going OEM 180sx if i can find a cheap one

Well i guess ill say it before one of the mods do. Why does the title say 180sx all i see is a 240sx. The title is a little misleading.

And why would you want to import a 180sx. You have an sr20 which is the same or better than a CA. Other than that there is no difference between a 240sx and a 180sx. Its not like the 180 is magically better. If your gonna import something import something we dont have here like a skyline, S15, laurel, or a chaser to name a few.

no offense to skyline owners but if i had the money I'd import a s15, its the only import only car that i like enough to spend money on to import, and the 180 isnt magically better, but then again i dont believe in magic, but it is cosmetically better

Thats my point i was jsut wondering why you would spend crazy money importing one vs jsut buying the cosmetic stuff to make it look like a 180

why would you swap the rear quarter windows? as in, why would you go through all that trouble. and then throw it all away when people on the internet asks you if you imported it? you should lie man. all that work, money and useless mods for nothing

now go get jdm tail lights, because they are indeed sexy

finished the shell, its amazing how much you can get done when your suspended from school (drifting out of the school parking lot with 3 other 240s following me, a 300zx tryed drifthing and crashed into a parked car so we all got blamed for it and suspended, thing is we dont even know the 300zx guy )

so anyways heres the shell

to the people who are asking for parts, i dont have a paypal account so i have to stay local, sorry, but to the people in WA, i realized i dont want to post all this shlt on craigslist, so if you want something then come get it, for free. im keeping the doors, hatch, bumpers, and taillights though, the rest is come and grab it

and of course that meant i had to take out the old

then i installed the drilled and slotted rotors all nice and shlt

i installed a MPH gauge, im terrible at math and KPH is alittle to much for me to handle ahah

got a magnaflow exhaust waiting to be installed

so this is how it sits as of 5pm on monday april 5th
