Anyone with experience wiring up 180sx turn signals?

I just got the signals today, but they didn't come with the sockets. I found sockets and wiring for the position lamps, and the sockets look similar. Can anyone clarify this for me? Seem's that everyone who bought their lights received the sockets as well. Do the sockets plug into the 240sx turn signal wiring, or are other pigtails required for them to work like the position lamps?
Thanks in advance.

I would try to find the socket sub harness that goes to the jdm housings. The sub harness plugs into the factory 240SX chassis harness and works. Otherwise you'll have to make your own harness salvaging some factory nissan wiring and plugs from a wrecking yard. The 180SX sub harness splits the function of the two filament bulb in the 240SX harness into two single filament bulbs.

Well I found these:

I just need the sockets that hold the bulb, and lock into place on the actual backside of the turn signal. I am having a hard time finding the socket for them. I was thinking if I could find the sockets, it might be easier to solder these pigtails in and hook them up, but I am having a hard time finding the sockets. I found the ones for the position lamps easily on ebay, but nothing for the turn signals. And the sockets look the same, but the pigtails are different.

Well one thing you could do is order new complete assemblies and use yours as backups in-case they break from a rock or something.

Brand new from FRsport they aren't too expensive ($70 for both):

Here's an article on how to wire them up though:

Maybe I was unclear in the OP, I have the ones for the 180sx front bumper:

So, to clarify, you have the housings, but those did not come with the actual bulb holding sockets that plug into the back of those housings? I'm a little bit surprised/ disappointed that the housings you bought didn't come with those. Have you tried the turn signal bulb sockets from your OEM setup to see if they fit? You could also try the corner lamp sockets I think. Then pull the same from a junk yard or online, rewire the pigtails...

Correct, I bought a bumper setup that didn't include sockets for the lights. I have tried the oem setup and they don't seem to fit. And for some reason I can only fight the sockets for the position lights online.

Lol, you have the Type X/kouki 180SX stuff. I thought you were talking about the normal 180SX split bumper lights. My bad. Well, forget everything I said then, ha ha. I've never had a Type X setup, so I can't be much of a help there.
