18" wheels on a sport model.

Has anyone here on this forum run 18's with the sport brakes. I'm thinking of selling my 19" sport wheels off the M35/45 platform.

Let me know what your running

This will be for a winter setup and easier to find tires.

I'm pretty sure the 18's won't clear the sport brakes.

I run 18s on my sport model without any issues. I believe winters are 245/50/18.

Do you have any pics of the wheels your using. I'm real interested in changing to 18's.

I think Tim is referring to the Infiniti 18s - I'm also pretty sure they won't clear the sport brakes, at least the wouldn't for the M35/45 - 2012 and up Y51s might have a different offset. Aftermarket 18s might if their design is right.

Sport vs standard brakes

...will a standard Infiniti wheel size 18x8 with an offset of 47mm fit over the Sport brakes. I have the 18s and would like to use them with snow tires this winter. Thanks

M37xS has the larger Akebono brakes, the M37x does not. Not sure which design of the 18" wheel you are running but I know my standard 18" 2013 M37 wheels require a spacer to clear the Sport package brakes.
