What the hel!? Now the edit and reply buttons are back. And now we can have sigs? Cool.

Will the 9's be so flush that they will require significant camber and fender rolling to clear?

Would I have any problems running these 17x9 +20 w/ 245/40/17 tires all around on my S13? Right now it's stock suspension, soon to have KYB AGX's w/ Tein S-Techs. Worst would be having to roll the fenders?

I'm running the 17x9 +20 5zigens all around on my S13 with 235/45 The rears stick out a tad, front are decent with my camber platest maxed. I'm on KTS coilovers btw. I rolled the lip up front and the 235/45s clear but it's close. Rears rub, with a slight pull in the rear and a lip roll up front they'll fit perfect in my opinion

You got any pics from the side solaris? That looks really tight with 245. I was planning on running 255. 245 fits on 8" so I might just go that route.

Hey, i have been looking for 17x9 in these for quite some time my planned setup is going to be 17x8 up front with 235/40/17 and in the rear 17x9 with 275/40/17..Will the rear tires clear and not catch the fender? Also will these rims clear z32 brakes? And one more thing, What are the different sizes, offsets, and prices you have? thanks - Brad

Broaner: re read my post, I'm running 235/45. I kinda wish I went 245/40 but oh well.

Cooch: yes they clear z32 and 275 would not clear a stock fender by a mile.

solaris22, thanks a lot for posting pics. Will I have any trouble using stock suspension and not being able to adjust camber yet? I think i'm going to do a springs/struts setup. I just want to know if the 245/40/17 setup will fit without much hassle. Rolling the fenders shouldn't be a problem.

with stock suspension you 'should' have enough wheel gap so you won't rub. But going over bumps may cause you problems. My logic of thinking is suspension first then wheels. A lowered car on stock wheels looks better than a jacked u pcar with aftermarket, but whatever tickles your pickle. Either way your going to want to roll all 4 corners

I'll be installing the new suspension at the same time. I was just curious to see if it would work on a stock setup.

I thought you were saying you were running a staggered tire.(235F/245R)

These pics are great but they are really making me want to keep my SSR C's and convert to five lug. I think I'll do that.

converting to 5-lug seems like a waste to me since these wheels are avalible. But be my guest.

With a 235/45/17 front tire you are best with a 255/40/17 in the rear. Going bigger will increase understeer.

A 255/40/17 on a 9" wheel is ideal.

I agree 255/40 with a roll in the rear would be good. I have very little if any understeer with the 235/45 on all 4 believe it or not. Went to cut some donuts and she held up pretty well, grippy as hell (ST115s). 235/45 with just the lip rolled is a perfect fit up front unless you wanna pull the fender for a larger tire. Keep in mind that is a slight stretch (note the first pic I posted)

I have 14.5 pound 17x8 SSR Competition rims that run $460 a pop. I've been trying to sell them. Nobody has bitten on them for $1200 shipped in perfect condition. So why lose $400+ when I could put that $400 toward the five lug swap and keep my light @ss rims? Plus, now looking at your pics it looks like they stick out too far for my liking on only 235 tires. I'm currently running 245's on my SSR's. Its looking like cramming a 255 on them will be possible.

1/2 is too much? I've heard of people pulling their fenders 4inches. I'm not selling these wheels, so good luck with your SSRs

There are more color options if you don't get the 17x9 +20 (only hyper black and bronze). All other sizes are available in Solid Silver, Hyper Black, Matte Black or Titanium Bronze.
