Well here is the OE Original Equipment by Nissan for the F50 170*F Thermostat. I ordered this a long time ago and my brother out it away. Well he did not remember where he had it.

I found it on our parts bin. Nissan part #21200-V5015, I checked it and says 76.5*C=170*F.

Update my car still has no MIL on, fuel consumption is still the same, more power, quicker shifts, an absolute monster now than before.

One must be careful in evaluating what the specs mean there is a begin to open temperature and a fully open temperature.

On the G50 this is 170F begin and 194F fully open...................with a 100% brandnew oem cooling system this should stablize at 174-177F as the rad ages it creeps up higher and higher progressively.

What counts is the coolant temp sensor reading reporting to ecu.

What's is important is the number of seconds and minutes you have at a redlight in simmer before the ecu starts degrading performance as the coolant temp climbs from ac being on.
