Just like the title says. I did alot of searchin, and found these 350z wheels will fit my s14 with no mods to the suspension. Great for me running stock suspension, and wants to keep it that way for auto-x reasons. (auto-x'in on stock wheels) So I bought the wheels today.

The wheels are 17x7.5 and 17x8. The rear wheels clear just fine. But the fronts look like the just BARELY clear the suspension. maybe not even. The tire is rubbing along the bottom most coil of the stock setup. I drove it down the highway without looking to make sure it cleared fine. I assumed the threads here and the hundreds of pics Ive seen had no problem with these many people attest to that fact.

But after hearing a sound, I went to go check, there was no wear or even mark on the tire itself, after 20 miles of 80 mph driving. My question is, Am I alright to leave the car as is? Or should I be looking into 225/45/17 in the front? (225/50/17 on right now)

Thanks in advance

Post edit: It seems like spacers may take care of the problem

Yeah, you're like the 3rd person to have this problem in like... 3 days. A 5mm spacer should do it, or buy another set of the rears and run them up front...

There must be someone in this thread with a similar set up...zerothread/359514
