I picked up a pair of 14x9 with a 0 offset for 5 bucks each. yes I spent 10 dollars and with 5 mins of srubbing they looked fresh. No bends or anything....

anyways, Im looking to get them some meat for them. I was thinking 245/60/R14s, but a I wouldnt mind maybe a 255.

my real question is, what Im going to have to do to get them to fit? my suspension is stock other than strut bars. Im I going to have clearence issues with the fender with large meaty tires? what else might I need to know?

I can have my BF roll and pull if need be...... just getting a rough guess what i need to do.

also........ tire recommendations would be awesome. Finding something that will look decent and be nice drag/auto-x tire is a bit of trick these days.

Those would stick out like a mofo especially with stock suspension. You'd have to be running some serious camber and overfenders/flares. And 14"? Idk, I think 15 is too small. But nice score getting them for $10.

16x8 with a 0 offset sits flush from what I understand...... I wouldnt think another in and smaller would be worse.

yeah 14s are small, but on the other hand the slicks are that much cheaper

14"s huh, badass.

They will stick out quite a bit, this is 15x8 -5

the 14x9 will have a similar stance.

For one thing, its going to look like a jeep until you do a drop of some sort, and I would suggest a little camber as well.

PS, I demand pictures of these wheels, and if you decide not to use them, I would be willing to take them off your hands.
