OK guys, I made it through the first 3 or 4 pages of this thread and got sick of it so let me just say something.

It doesn't matter how much surface area you are applying between the pad and the rotor. If you are applying 10lbs of force, you are applying TEN FRICKIN' POUNDS OF FORCE!

Second, for those of you who are so worried about the line pressure....think about it in other terms. If you have 3 gears in sequence, it doesn't matter how big the gear in the middle is, you'll always get the same ratio between the first and the last. Just like in a braking system, you only need the force and size of the first piston and the size of the last piston to find out the resulting force.

If this stuff was already mentioned, then feel free to flame me. I probably won't be back to this thread anyways.

Have'nt laughed so much,since when?

Not sure what I might have learned. But this uneducated hillbilly did make a decision. Will get the best pads for stock brake system. Spend my 300zx brake upgrade money on sticky tires... and invest in suspension parts. I was tempted to ask what pads and tires would be best... think ill do a search first though.

This threads hangin by a rope....lol
