a 12.3 @ 109 is very for a t25 sr. i am not doubting anyone at all, but im just saying it blazing fast for a stock motor. but then again, you guys in the mainland (us) tend to have cooler air temps and less humidity. the fastest trap with slicks that i did was a 106 and street tires was a 108.ive did a 12.7 twice, and more than i can count with the 12.8. those are with 1.6 60fts and welded diff. i do not see myself getting a better 60ft or time without upgrading power parts.

as far as the rear-end goes.....ive did 1.7's with a vlsd. results are pretty similiar with a vlsd and 2-way, 1.5-way, and welded. they pretty much do the same thing when going in a straight line like the other guy said before me.

im waiting for some engine management then i can slap on my gt25r and see what kind of numbers i can do.

the vlsd does not matter. i've gotten a 1.448 60 ft time on my vlsd. I know a guy with an rb that ran a 11.17 with a vlsd and another sr powered s14 that ran a 11.71 with vlsd. i've got videos if you want to see. aftermarket diffs are a major waste of money unless you are competing in roadracing, drifting, or scca. Drag racing doesn't matter.

thanks for the info. you recommend a real vlsd or an open diff locker?

while on topic, does anyone have experience with those phantom grip lsd's?also, what is a welded diff?and last question, is there a big difference in the s13 and z32 lsd's? are thier ratio's significantly different?

The phantom grip was junk IMHO, welded diff is just that, a dif that has been welded together (super LSD so to speek)

The gear ratio's are basically the same, the TT was different but that dosn't fit anyhow.
