Ran at the track on 2/4/09 Opening wednesday night drags for the season. It rained later that night so I believe humidity was pretty high (bad for turbo cars!)

Best run of the night:

60ft-------2.33 1/8th------8.61 1/8th mph--93.26 ET---------12.86 1/4mph----119.22

Still the same ol bottom mount GT3076R .86AR with internal wastegate. This time I added Kelford 272's and 3 more psi of boost.Full interior S14 SE with sunroof and all the options. Car is super low with stiff coilovers, not ideal for a drag setup at all. Need to work on the launches but 235/40/18 stretched on a 18x10 rim can't really do all that much.

I wanna turn up the boost to 20psi but the wastegate has a problem holding boost till redline. Must be the weak wastegate.

No videos, my camera ran out of batteries (forgot to charge) but I did manage to take a pic before it died.

The Kelfords gave a big bump in the top end.

As usual, there was a low end drop but the gains were well worth it.

I'm not using adjustable cam gears, just stock. Just dropped the cams straight in.

I will dyno soon to see how much power I am actually making.

Good times, I thought you would of hit 120 mph for sure, but with a few more runs and tweakin ur setup you can get a 120 mph pass.

edit - how did your 350z clutch setup work out?

The 350z clutch + rb20 flywheel worked out great. I grabs really hard and I can chirp 3rd gear without even trying. Very impressive for a full face disc!

That's good news considering I have the same turbo. Only difference is that I TIG'd on an external gate.I expect faster numbers once you get it dialed in. I was running 12.5-12.6 e/t's with my GT2860RS once I got it in the zone. 113-116mph. And that was with 225/45/17 on a 7" wheel.I've not messed with my 3076 due to weather and such. I have been learning to tune though in the meantime. So I've got high hopes for the spring. Also buttoned up some intercooler leaks and stuff too.I've cranked my 3076 up to the neighborhood of 26psi so far. That's why I had some coupler issues.. Ran pretty darn good with the exception of not knowing any solid numbers. What are you running for an ECU? Wanna check out some BIN's I've been working on?

Im running an Enthalpy ECU still. I want to get Nistune or Calum and tune myself because when I upgrade again, I dont wanna get left out in the cold again but Enthalpy. You are using a 38mm wastegate am I correct?

I need to go external because this internal isn't holding steady about 18psi...

congrats. ive never ran a 1/4 mile track before only 1/8th. my best 1/8th is 8.6 or 8.7 on a stock ka with a 75 shot. so that means in the 1/4 id get a high 12 to mid 13 comparing to your numbers.

My 1/8 mile sucks because lack of traction. After the 1/8 I pulled like no other.

Nice numbers sunny. You can put down some better times for sure with your setup. Add a set of slicks man.

With an 8.7 your at about a 13.5 quarter mile time.

Another happy Kelford customer You're setup is nice!

The car should have a good 11 sec pass once you get everything dialed in, looking forward to your progess, good luck!

Oh and how's the idle with the Kelfords, is it tuned for cams or stock?

I told Enthalpy to tune for 264 cams before I got them but I found that Kelfords had better top end than Crower 264s. So I just dropped these in instead of the Crowers.

Thats awsome man You'd be SO much faster without those HUGE wheels and tires man. With drag radials I bet you'd seriously knock off a full second. Time to spring for a set of Summit 15/8 alum wheels and some 275-60's at about 20 psi

I'd also be alot faster with a T3 manifold also (twin scroll?)

I'm gonna try to push this setup to 20psi with some 100 octane and see what else it has left in it.

I'm thinking this flange is really holding me back powerwise at this boost level (WD ) Imagine a twin scroll 30R setup at this same boost level can do.

Wait, so what does your car top out at? I'm assuming you've removed the speed limiter, I also remember you saying something about adjusting your rev limiter a while back. 120 sounds about the limit or pretty close. Are you running different gears in the differential?

I have a tuned ecu so speed limiter is removed.

I also raised the rev limit to 7250 so I'm almost redlining in 4th at the end of the track.

I am running the stock s14 vlsd.

Dyno sheet coming soon this friday.

I will be dynoing on a mustang dyno, it should let me know how much power I am putting down. It might read a little lower than what you guys would expect but oh well

It's a place in West Sacramento called EVIL GENIUS racing.

$65 bucks for 3 pulls.

I will be dynoing at 17psi.

do you think that adjustable cam gears and degree'ing your cams would help you out at all? possibly going to a T3 flange also?

Ofcourse cam gears would help to squeeze out more power out of these cams. At this point, I'm thinking T3 flange would help, but I am not sure how much more (I haven't dyno'd yet).

I will be upgrading to a T3 flange in the foreseeable future. I am still debating on going twin-scroll 30r or 35r.

I need help choosing between the 2 turbos.

Go with the 35r, you will want more power if you get the 30r.

Those dyno pulls at that place, Is it a special price or is that the standard price? Cause once I add a few minor things I wouldnt mind gettin my car on a dyno.
