What's the deal here? I see the car's been relisted, and with a higher BIN price.

I'd say you'll now have the title of "Most Modded Q", a title previously held by our Senior Admin Fred (palmerwmd). You're in good company here, and anything you need to know about maintaining/repairing your Q's (well, except for the new Q's engine) you can find here.

Welcome - hope to see you around a lot more.
What about AGM's Q?

Pali, what brand rims are those, I can't see from the pictures but they look a bit like the ones I have, Motegi Racing chrome 16's.

Hey Anand - We got another SBG on the board! (inside joke)

Hope the deal goes through, we'd love to have another "Two Q" owner here...

I bet that maintenance per year on the dual hood ornaments is more than the Q! :D

Pali, I just noticed on the auction that your feedback is 1. Not trying to insult you but if the guy knew you were short of funds that's why he relisted. If you try and bid again after backing out, he's really gonna be pi$$ed. that's because it's costs a significant amount of money that he pays to ebay to list this thing. And he IS gonna try and get you kicked off if you come back and bid again after you backed out. Just tryng to give you some friendly advice about ebay, I figured you might not be that familar if this was your first time bidding. It is a contract and he does have some significant legal rights to go after you also, a bid is a legal contract. Be careful if you can't cover the bid, he may come after you. Bidding on a car on ebay is not like all the other chicken$hit stuff that goes on there. Sellers get seriously upset, he may need his money in a hurry out of this car.

Maintenance on those two hood ornaments would be more than maintenance on the VIPER. Yes, very high maintenance indeed, and I might add 00 warranty.

Pali...I think you may have mentioned new rims for the Q45a. I am no expert, but if you go with 20"s, you will have to be aware of max load ratings and prob go with a wide rims and tire maybe 255 at least. I have and recommend 18"s with 245/18/45.

Q45Viper....thnx or the feed back bro, i appreciate the advice and no u didnt insult me, i'd rather learn than be ignorant. i did contact the owner it only cost him 40 bucks to list it the first time and 40 for the second time, and i did email him again for the fnal price that he's asking for, and he said min price is 16Gz, which is even higher than first price. and i look at the pics closer, and if u notice the car in the pic with the gurls has stickers on the windshielf and back small driver side window, but the rest of the pics it doesnt have it... lol i dunno i might be technical, but i still want the car badly, and i did explain to him my situation with getting the money, and so far it has 5 days left for bid and yes max bid is 5000, not even close to 15 or even 16,000. like i said i want the car badly, but the question is, is it THAT worth it for 16,000 to spend on it? and besides idunno what he's done to the rest of the car mechanically, like shocks, air-struts, etc...and i didnt wanna ask for specifications for him to be annoyed. well i'd really appreciate all the advice i need, and he's not totally offended that i wasnt able to get ahold of the financial situation settled.

GEOFF, ...

true bro, i think 18" or 19" max is enough for it, 20" is kinda pushing it, with low-low-low profile tires, which is not a good idea, bt it would look tight tho. i was thinking about the Alba Bertha rims.....??? what do u think? i got the sound part settled, using the factory bose inside speakers (cross over) and the box, subs, and stereo. it gives a good amount of bass considering the Q45 is VERY sealed car for sound, i mean if i put my system in another car, i'd shatter windows, lol but so far ts giving good enough bass (at level 1, out of 0-40 range) to make u throw up ur food in ur stomach after 20 minutes of sitting in it. either way, i love the Q and i dont think i'd change it for another car.

I am not that familiar with the Alba Bertha rims, but it is likely someone here is. I had O.Z. rims on my first Q and they were nice and light. I currently have '02 Q45 18"s . They are nice, but a little heavy. If you get 18"s they should be 7.5" to 8" wide with 245/45/18 tires. For 19"s you may need to go a little wider. If you run 19"s, and 255/40/19 tires, the overall diamter would be a full inch over factory and may not clear control arm.
