the much more logical debate would be: if you could choose between 2 shells to build, an r33 or an r34, which would it be? because basically, your question boils down to, which do you think looks better?

tita chooses r33 btw. also, the whole debate thing is lame because it's all just personal preference. neither has any type of advantage looks-wise. people arguing over personal preference when no factual evidence could ever end the debate, piss me off. it's so annoying, and even more so because it turns into a fight to the e-death.

That caddy sounds like dook compared to a nicely tuned RB. If you watch the whole episode from the GTchannel, the inline 6 shootout, they drive a couple carb'd RBs and they sound so amazing. I now want a super balanced L-series or RB carb'd or ITB'd.

Gimme that money, that way I can buy one of these bad boys in a couple of years and not have to worried about it getting repo'd right now.

unlike you fools, i'd put that money in a checking account and set up automatic monthly mortgage payments. that would free up a lot of extra spending cash, while building equity.

Oh! What I'd do with 80K worth of spending money! I think only about $10K of those $80K I'd spend on my cars. :chuckle:

ITB's are such a pain in the a** :squint:

Not so much the throttle bodies, just all the other little stuff associated.

I dont have any problems with my ITB'ed 4AGEs. They run rich from time to time, but nothing worth writing home about.

I should have been more specific, I was referring to ITB's on an RB20/25.

Little things like relocating the temp sensors, finding someone to resurface the manifold (welding warped mine), etc...

I would take the money but if that wasn't an option, I would happily take the R32.

it'll be a weekend car, so downtime isn't a concern. plus i have a different intake mani that i'll be running in the beginning, so i'll be able to take my time hacking up the stock mani for customization. your thread has already been bookmarked.

If you want that kind of speed, then get an airplane. 1000hp is too much for a street car, and still ridiculous for the track...

to me, this conveyed a smartass remark that was off topic of the thread....should you really be surprised he took offense?
