They may compress a little but they definitely don't cut to have of their height under normal load.

Without them the car WILL bounce and even cause chattering noises when the upper spring perch becomes disconnected from the spring itself, as the spring supplied with these types of kits are usually only 8" tall uncompressed. If you really want to dump the car buy a real set of coilovers that include a shortened strut to compensate for the shorter springs.

*face-palm*

...This coming from a fellow blue lover as well... Haha

I miss my car so bad... Haven't seen it in almost a month. All the cars here are sub 2.5L displacement (even the nice ones) and people can't drive worth sh*t.

Update, here's their reply :

I will gladly fix the color issue for you. as for the springs, you will never find a coilover kit that is the same size as factory! you can use these with your foactory setup as well.

Seriously I'm doubting going through with this...too much of a pain to install those and then possibly be like "oh crap!".

they will fit and they will work. Like I said teh big issue comes down t how low you lower the car with them.

anything lower than 1 inch and you are likely to be driving a pogo stick and the spring will separate from the perch causing chatter and knocking sounds. but they will work and will handle pretty good as long as the road is smooth.

Spring rates on these types of coilovers are usually in the neighborhood of 300/500lbs where as stock is somewhere around 180/260 ( numbers may not be 100% accurate but are close). This is how they get away with such a short spring, it will compress alot less.

Wow, i just bought some coilovers too for a 350z because the rear spring is wider.

Just to let you know if the front springs is too soft for you. You can always purchase a new coil spring from these suspension company. Like im going to go with groundcontrol springs for front.

These are complete adjustable but struts(shocks) wont last long. I wish someone like koni would make some struts.

Tell me when your going to install and how it rides. I will install mine when i get them in.

I installed ground control coilovers on my altima off my accord. Im using there usual stock ride spring rates and it does feel the same. Just to let you know all coilover springs are about the same sizes. Its just the rates are different but anyways. The rear your going have to cut a rubber boot cup which the spring will fit in. Just cut the cup so it can go lower. The front, I couldnt use the sleeves. The coil springs are almost as tall as the oem springs. Altima coupe oem springs are very short. I got about a 2-2.5" drop.

I dont mean to thread jack but coilovers are too big.

Some reason altimas have very small coils. because all the other companies use about same size coils even full suspension ones.

I took the car on a "round about" at 60mph or so and handled really well. Expecting it will probably take more. Stock shocks FTL.

Groundcontrol/eibach have been on top of the suspension market for over 15yrs. Team up with koni yellows are awesome ride but expensive. Cars are usually bouncey due to stock shocks or worn shock struts. Spring rates and ridr height determine other Factors. I prefer 12k front and 10k rear spun all the way down.

Let's see the coils installed!!!

I didn't have to spin it. Its just coil only. With the coil sleeves it sat up too high. Im switching soon.. Trying to talk to function and form.

ok these are gathering dust, I DO NOT PLAN TO INSTALL so if anyone wants them and is in canada email me

they are new and never mounted so the discount will be minimal but it will be cheaper than buying them new and having them ship it to canada.

for usa-ers, well shipping was a b**** on those so you're better up buying them on ebay and using their free shipping if you wanna try them out

(usa gets free shipping, we canadians get raped in the a** of course )
