i had the exact same type of springs pictured on my 00 alti back in 00 lol and it dropped it beautifully... mind you, nothing was out for it back then at all, so it was my only coilover-type choice, but they worked great... the only thing i had to do was grind dont a piece on the strut to have the "sleeve" fit, but the ride was the best and the drop was great... had them for 2 years, never even blew out a shock - AND i spun out going 90 and the car didn't flip... i'll probably be testing these out on my coupe... i'll buy this weekend

MY personal experience with these sleeve type coilovers is mixed.

If your lowering the car ~1-1.5MAX they work great, any more than that and you'll have a really bouncy pogo stick like ride unless you live in an area with very flat roads. You really really need stiffer, SHORTER shocks and struts to use these to their full potential (neither exist for the AC as of yet). Without them the car WILL bounce and even cause chattering noises when the upper spring perch becomes disconnected from the spring itself, as the spring supplied with these types of kits are usually only 8" tall uncompressed. Even the Eibach GC's are prone to this. I have owned cheap versions and the Eibach versions in the past, and I'm really not impressed with them as the usable range like I mentioned is only upto 1.5"max. Why would you need to adjust anything if your only lowering 1 inch.

These will dump the car almost 4 inchs but you can't actually drive that way without bouncing so hard your head hits the roof and blowing your struts in a week

If you really want to dump the car buy a real set of coilovers that include a shortened strut to compensate for the shorter springs.

In addition, take consideration of your camber when dropped greater than 1.5"

What was your drop? I am not a fan of big spring drops with OE shocks, the ride is just way to bouncy.

i had an inch gap between the front wheels and fender which was amazing for a 2000 alti... the car was brand spankin new so the shocks were new - no bounce at all, but of course raised another inch and the ride was better than stock, stiff, yet soft... the camber when all the way down was bad AT ALL, cuz of the macphersons all the way around, and i never had an issue with irregular balding on the tires...

no no price has been set yet, still working out the pricing and gathering all the parts (i.e new polyurethane sway bushings and materials).

price will likely be on par with the stillen bar, but ours is obviously larger stronger and includes poly bushings

If you don't want the product then don't buy it,and don't bash it until you have had the product installed on your car, or you can just wait there will be someone who will buy the product, and I promise they will give you any info you want. If the product end up being great, then buy them, if they are crap then be glad you didn't buy them, its pretty simple. All I can say is that at least they are putting the products out. Just one more option out for people to choose from.

yes mchedaddi, I agree, back on subject.... I'm anxious to see how these hold up, especially being lowered anything more than 1.5inches...

I'm not trying to get too far off subject, but 'rjdmmfl1' below is a link to a current post with updated pics of my coupe, I wasn't getting at anyone over any reason other than give the product a chance. I'm not upset about what people think about my car or what they said because you can see in the current post it's a little different now, you can also check out my cardomain page, where it to is also different from the first pics I posted of the kit, I love the car, and i'm very happy w/ it. Razzi has opened the door for many other things w/ my coupe. I just wanted to take time to clear up that i'm not upset or pissed about anything. We want parts for our cars, just because you don't think it the right part for you, doesn't mean you should bash the product. (wait till someone test it first, if u like buy, if u don't then don't). Myself I would like a lower drop, but waiting to see what'mcheddadi' finds about them. It's also about time for Sprint to bring out there springs which are suppose to be lower than Eibach.

Ohh boy here we go... make sure your insurance is up to date, and until they prove themselves, id run on stockers, you dont want these things to smash your wheels if they are a big bucket o' fail!
