as the title says, one of my injectors are ticking...what would cause this? and is it spent?..........could this also explain why my oil has the smell of gass to it?........speaking of oil, i just changed my oil and found some beautifull copper looking shavings in my oil..then i started up the car after the oil change and heard what apears to be the beguining to rod knock.(ticking sound) but only at idle and up to like 1500 rpm, then it goes away.

Yesterday was a long daty to say the least

injectors tick when they are in operation. The injector you are referring to... is this ticking ALOT louder than others?

copper shavings in your oil = spun bearings.

yes, the first injector is ticking a lot louder then the rest...i took one end of a screw driver to each injector and put it up to my ear....something must be wrong with this one injector....whyelse would the rest of them be quite for the most part and this one be 8x louder?

Yea, i know its a spun bearing...kinda sucks, I wish i would have known sr20's have bearing problems when i bought the sr . I searched but everyone was claiming how strong and long lasting the motor was...never was thier mention of bearings getting spun, heat and oil pick up issues....
