A SR20DET powered sentra/200sx/NX should run low 14's to high 13's depending on mostly the driver. I'm guessing from my 1/8 mile time/mph, I should run a 13.9/104mph in the 1/4 on street tires. 13.5 all day long with slicks. This would be on 12psi.

wow those lil bugers are quick, for FF, what do the sr powered s13s run, i konw budweizer has an sr powered s13 nad he's hit 14.49 with an almost stock SR, so how are these guys pulling off 13.8??? are they that good of a driver, id just figure the 24o would be quicker cause of ht eRWD!

It's all in the 60ft time. So therefore its the driver and a combination of good tires...no unless you got some slicks.

hey welcome aboard ben, i hope u find everyone on NICO very informative and helpful, that is an amazing car u have there, i really like the wheel/color combo, is that strictly a show or street car?, it looks amazing, the kit seems to have perfect fitment, custom work?

do u have many problems with cops and that car, usually flashy cars get pulled over much more often, but having never had a 'flashy' car, is this true?

A bone stock sr20de in a 200sx se-r or the likes of a b14 vehicle should run 15.7's or so with a good driver.

maybe not, but I've seen 15.7's out of stock se-r's. I'm not a believer of paper numbers

yea, i know how that goes, it all depends on the driver, and im not saying that 15.7s are unattainable, but they're just going to take a better driver and good traction

The numbers published by Nissan in the little '97 promo flyer I still have from the dealer says 15.86@91mph and 0-60 in 7.13 seconds.

Anybody that gets under 16 flat in a bone stocker is doing something right. It's really difficult in the '98 because it has a open differential. The 95-97 has the viscous LSD. So '98 drivers tend to spin in the low end of gears 1, 2, and 3.

The 1st run I ever made in my '98 (the day I bought it actually) was 15.998@89mph. I never got it under 16 again without mods. Dumb luck I guess.

All of them.

I couldn't tell you which were the most beneficial, because I did all of the exhaust at the same time. (I'm still using the tiny factory from the cat back to my muffler...ouch)

I did the CAI a week later. As far as the mods go. I felt nothing from the CAI, but it did help lean out my A/F ratio which was WAY rich.

I think most of the trap speed I picked up was actually from bigger wheels/tires. I run 215/45WR17 on the front with 225/45ZR17 on the rears. They were a major help. I hit the beam @7000RPM in 3rd gear, instead of 5000RPM in 4th.

ihear about cai's helping out air fuel ratios qiute a bit on some cars, i dont think my car is running that rich as it is, considering its all stock im sure its running 'somewhat' rich, , but i think the first mods i'm going to do is header and full catback, since i have a cat on my header, using a differnet header will also get rid of one cat

I used to have a 98. The only power mod I had was a jwt pop charger and advanced timing. My best time with those was 16 flat, but it was very consistant. I never cracked into the 15's though :(

According to Nissan of America sales brochures:

B12 = 2640B13 = 2528 (2dr); 2570 (4dr); 2490 (SE-R)B14 = 2586 (2dr); 2636 (4dr)B15 = 2761 (SE-R); 2710 (Spec-V)

So yes, the B13 SE-R is the lightest of the bunch. It's a small enough weight delta few would notice the performance difference caused be weight alone.

its pretty much a rule of thumb that the newer cars get the heavier they get as well, yet 271o lbs of dry weight for a spec V is fairly light by todays standards
