I didn't say partial, I said unintentional. And I am sorry if I offended you, that wasn't the intent. I should not have used you as an example. I was just pointing out that the car can get away from you, especially with more power.

This always comes up. The 240 is not a good platform for a drag car.

But, if I was going to do it I would reinforce the frame, gut the drive train, put a fuel cell under the hatch, weld a tubbed Ford 9" rear end to the frame and get a motor & trans from a supercharged SVT Lightning or Cobra.

Now you have something to start with.

yea i kno every one tryed 2 make the car a full drag and has not bin that good of a turn outbut i want 2 make one and see what i can do.plus i have alot of hope in the car at the track there was a KA-T running 12's and he said he has like 3 something 2 the wheels so i think the car can do alot if u just tune everything right andabd do everything the right way

I seriously hate you. People like you simply destroy the car scene and I hate your guts for it. This thread needs to be closed for pure stupidity. I laugh at your attempt to even make close to 600rwhp. There are shops out there that haven't hit close to 700rwhp and you are hoping for that on mid-boost?

Grow up, graduate high school, get your license, and please drive a ****ing Honda with a wing.

Oh and for the record my KA-T trapped 120's on low boost, no spray when I went to the track...just so we can stay on topic. Pfff...

For everyone who thinks that a 240sx isnt a good "DRAG CAR" is an idiot. Ive got a buddy of mine out of New Mexico who has a 240sx "DRAG CAR" that is running 11.3's on a bone stock 240sx (internally) with a 51 dry shot nitrous. He is right now in the process of building a 600+ HP KA-T, if bearings allow it hes shooting for 800Hp. Go to http://www.drag240sx.com and look up the name steve kovac of S&G Racing. And just in case you dont belive that hes running 11.3's he has a video of it on there. Also it is the sickest sounding 240sx out there, at least a KA 240sx. So for the guy who wants to build 700 HP dont let these guys put you down bro, a 240sx will be doing this soon very soon so if you wanna try and attempt Sh*t go for it.

Thanx man im going 2 make that power no matter what people saythatz hot that your friend is running 11's some day me and him can race u kno make it a big thing yea im going Turbo Nitrouse when i make the power on 116 octane thatz when i want 2 make 700RWHP but on mid boost cuz High Boost i want 900HP it would be sickand i kno i can do becasue people said that i or kno one can make 850 RWHP in a 300zxTT and i made that but then crashed at the track forgot to put the bar behind the rear tires all wheel stearing is a mother in the drag lolplus a shop made 1,000 rwhp in a 300zxTT

and i kno this 240 is not far off the 300zx so yea if you or your friend want 2 talk tell him 2 hit me up on my [email protected]

240 and 300 are totally different, i can count on one hand the interchangable parts

plus a 3.0L v6 thats been proven to take over 1000 hp many many times is a lot different from a 2.4L I4 where a few people are in the 600s

you can say youll make it all day long but fact is it takes a lot of knowledge to make that kind of power in these cars, saying your going to sleeve the block is the first key that you arent going to make it

or you may make it but the 2nd time you hit full boost it will grenade

youre not thinking this out at all, you need to slow down and do your research

any car can be a drag racer, but these cars dont have stuff specifically made for it, solid rear axle and stuff like that

also it doesnt take that much power to be in the 11s...theres people here that have run high 10s with around 550

besides drag racing sucks

well at least your not saying that i cant do it jsut that it has not bin done yeti already kno i can do it i did my research and got everything down.the main thing realy is the tunning and i cant do that so im have bullish racing 2 do it

plus im getting my hole motor done by Daton motors if you kno who that is the rear i have not made a choice in what i want 2 do yet but soon i will

when i have every thing done i will make a thread about it

You still don't get it....at all. You still need to die. Who cares WHAT company is making the block or allegedly helping you with ANYTHING. You were talking about sleeving the block when it's a ****ing iron block.

You said you crashed your allegedly 850rwhp 300zx TT because of the all wheel steering? You tard. It doesn't even work like that. Post up pics of the wreck, dyno sheets, anything.

Just go away please. If you could single handedly build your own turbo kit and tune it yourself I would bow down to you but at this point you can barely construct a full sentence let alone put a ****ing turbo on a car.

Why not just swap a small block V8 into the 240 and put a 9 inch rear end in it. You wouldn't have to deal with anything and it would probably be MUCH faster than any Nissan motored 240 in the long run. If you need me to explain anything above I will since you probably have no clue wtf a 9 inch rear is.
