Explain how you have modded your V to be able to acheive an 11.2 quarter. That's almost 6 seconds off the quarter time for a stock V. Has anybody else in this forum seen or heard of a Versa running a quarter even close to that time?? I thought not. I simply do not believe you.

Just had to say, don't use the 5.0 race when telling about the Versa's speed. A 10.9 1/8 mile for a V8 is the slowest I've ever heard. My coupe can get a 10.2 or so with stiff suspension and skinny tires/open diff and I know I can't beat a V8 in a drag race. That had to be the worst driver ever.

Quick question, even with that much of power difference. Cant you granny shift the mazda and still win?

Yes. And honestly, I think you could skip gears in the mazda and still win (i.e. 1 to 3 to 5)

Its just shifting like you normally do while driving a stick shift but in more of a hurry

I knew someone wouldn't understand lol. What I mean is when your driving your car you push the clutch all the way down and take your foot off the gas and shift. This is granny shifting.

The alternative to granny shifting is double clutching. Which has to do with keeping your foot on the gas but barely pushing your clutch and shifting gears. I dont really understand it and I probably got it wrong.
