I've got a 2008 Sentra S, std stereo, NON Rockford-Fosgate, with the convenience package. The Sentra moderator suggested a post here on this topic. A few of us are interested in adding the trunk mount OEM satellite receiver to the audio system. zerothread/314380

Question is whether the '08 mid-level stereo is pre-wired for it. Dealer said non-Fosgate 2008 Sentra S w/ convenience package was not satellite wired. Others have said some of the 2008s are pre-wired. Nissan national didn't give me a useful answer at all.I did check behind driver's side trunk lining and there appears to be a jack in the wiring harness. It's about an inch wide multi-pin connector. Question is whether there are any other wiring requirements up forward that were left out at the factory or would this be plug and play.

Anyone actually done an OEM satellite install on this Sentra model/equipment?Thanks

does the radio have a "SAT" button? nissan may have eliminate this button and put "SAT" mode into the "RADIO" button selections. if you could post a picture of the connector and it location i can give you a definitve answer to if it SAT wired. older nissans needed extra plugs connected to the head unit when the satalite readio was installed but the harness was prewired and just needed to be connected to the unit.
