Well at least yer in touch with MOST of yer personalities. I'm the same way & it's so hard to convey all the cynical diatribe and fun heartedness and just plain playfulness on a damn computer. Soon enough no one will have any type of personality at all. HEHA

ok back to the pulley info..,,,

first off a couple pics.. as you can see compared to the mag this thing is huge, weight difference is stock is a little over 8 lbs and this one is 2 lbs so im losing 6lbs off of the turning ratio.

and now the quick review...didnt do the dyno after the install because per UR that results will show after 5-7 days or 200miles where maximum hp will be gained.IT WAS A BISHH AND A HALF TO INSTALL nut was on so hard on, it says only 30 ft of tq thats less than a wheel nut. that was not the case. took like 2 hours and three broken tools until it was loose.

it was snowy out and still icy so i never got on it until i put about 50 miles on the car and just now coming home highway ramp was all salted and dried out. stopped vdc off shifted first. slip light hasnt been blinking this bad since idn. almost went sideways. second pulled and third was like with boost. i dont know i still need clean stretchway and for it to breakin but so far. super power gains.

sweet!! that stock crank pulleys looks ugly. ur magazine and the UR pulley are smokin.lol. anyways looks like this a really good mod to do. would you recommend buying used UR crank pulley or do you think that would be dangerous? let me know your impression after a couple days as well. thanks man

I got mine, ready to install. I think I might be installing tomorrow, assuming minimal snowfall today. I don't like the garage all wet when I am underneath my car. LOL

HFC's arrive tomorrow.

I'm doing the E-fan conversion at the same time as well.

How did you like this mod Suby?

dude. as far as performance goes this thing makes your car a monster.

now that ive driven it for a while i guess everything reconfigured so i actually see the butt dyno like whoaa.

havent dynoed it yet because i dont have any free time now after the pulley install so i dont know the actual numbers.

talked to some g37 guys and with intake and exhaust they were able to get 9whp from the pulley. so thats friggin sweet.

according to the UR main page website there should be a increase in MPG even with this pulley, i havent seen anything propably since now i enjoy the G so much more now.

but also haha there was a wet spot today where one lane merges into two for a left turn so i floored it in first and got cought at the begining at the wet spot my tires kept spinning and i went sideways into the other lane. haha. never ever has my car done that before. so there is a lot more bolas under the hood. but i just cant imagine with people putting down even 300whp or more in a G or a Z and being able to drive it. haha.

let me know how your install goes. mine was

I've been told that its a batch to get the stock one off, but relatively simple to get the UR one on. I saw a DIY somewhere, I'll follow that and it if helps I write up a DIY for my install.

d!ck!

What is your catchcan using to coalesce/condensate the vapor? I highly doubt that a $20 eGay catchcan is going to consider this aspect. I've seen catch cans go for as much as $400. Part of that is name and looks, but the other part is design.

I'm going to post the how to on the forums AND going to spend about 2 hours making one of these for Vivek at my cost or below and you're accusing me of just wanting to make money?

I think I told Vivek $20. The hose is like $12. The bottle is $3. Fittings $8 and 2 or so hours of my time because I'm meticulous.

One thing our forums lacks is DIY. At least half of the community goes to a mechanic or shop to get their stuff installed. I'm having fun making stuff that works as good or better (at least than the ebay $20 POS).

I think I'm a little bit ahead of you on this one. I started looking into an oil catch can over 2 months ago and did a TON of research on various designs including most of what ebay had to offer. There weren't many variations at the $20 price point.

Did you know that, to be completely effective, you actually need two independent catch cans? Did you know that cadillac was the first to design and implement a PCV system which causes blow by and crank case gases to be burned by your engine? How about the company who designed a centrifugal coalescing catch can? Baffles? Steel wool?
