Bumping. Just rolled over 20k miles.

So far

I've gone through one front tire
two back tires
one chain
one set of sprocket(currently running 15/43 F/R)
upgraded to .85 fork springs with 10w oil set to 150mm
zx600c unishock in the rear set to 22psi
130/90-16 in back
100/90-16 in front(had to raise fender to clear it)
installed sockets and bulbs in the two pods next to the brake light. Running 2397s instead of 1157s. Slightly decreased output of running lights while increasing output of brake lights. Creates a greater contrast to be more visible.

The bike has been great. I haven't had to do much to it. Change the oil, clean the air filter, adjust the valves(easiest engine ever!), lube and tighten the chain.

With the change in gearing and tire size I have been able to drop the RPMs a ton. Cruising at 70mph in 6th gear works out to about 7700rpms. It used to be closer to 9000rpms. I'm hoping this will greatly increase the engine life as this bike is used to commute 50 miles round trip 5 days a week.

I have dropped the bike twice. One time was when making a right hand turn from a stop sign. Speed was under 5mph. What happened is I caught the inside white line which had moisture, and possibly ice(30 degree morning) on it. I low sided. This scraped up the right exhaust, right bar end, and a little bit of the lower right fender. Nothing major.

The other time I dropped it I was not moving. I parked on a slight incline turned to the left a little bit. I put the kickstand down and went to step off. The incline and angle combined to push the stand back up. So the bike fell over. Luckily my leg kept it from fully hitting the ground(read:the bike fell on me). The left bar end has a little ding in it.

It's a great little bike. I can cruise at 100mph all day long if I want. I am averaging about 57mpg.

I have contemplated getting a bigger bike, but I figure I will just get into more trouble with more power. Hell, I've already gotten a ticket for 39mph over on this little Ninjette!
