I bought my 04 for 22k with 46k. As you can see from my member date, it was pretty recently. I don't regret doing it one bit, the color is simply too sweet.

Once I get my Toyo tires and the deep dish chrome rims, this G is about to be a real eye stealer. It already is...

BUT I do agree with having electric issues, but I didn't know the 04" had problems. My car is currently is getting 10 mpg, so thats a problem. I'm hooking up the computer on Friday to see what the problem is.

What I'll probably do is give this car to my little brother and buy an 06" in a couple of years...

This was my second car and it was more of an impulse buy at 21 years old...

04's are the lightest coupes...

04's have electrical problems??

The blue one that we are looking at has a problem with the passenger door. It will only lock manually.

I think it looks good, and cool if you get it....

BUT, if you get an autotragic, get one with 18" wheels. The AT's with the 18's (preformance wheel and tire package) have a VLSD, the ones with the 17's, have an open diff.

Drove a black/black 05 w/prem today. 32k miles. $21,500I took it and got it washed....on some places looked like somebody tried to buff it and got something under the pad... Don't know if it's fixable, so I'll pass on it.

I think I'm actually burned out on looking now.....so, I'll keep driving my sedan. It now has NICO decals in the window anyway!!! Thanks to Beaner!!!
RichYou need to stop, slow down, take a deep breath. First dispose of all your FORDS. Convince the neighbors also to clean up the neighborhood.

Start looking into a new one & do the actual purchase in December. I think you'll be much happier. Just my $.02

I wish that dark blue was carried over to the 06 models, I would have gotten it.

Damn, someone really wants them a coupe. My advice, 05 and up for various reasons. If you can 06 and up, I like some of the interior upgrades after 05 I think maybe 04...whenever they switched from the god-awful ugly plastic in the shifter to the leather boot on the ATs.

they switched in 05. The only things the 06 bring are the updated engine, bi-xenons, intelligent key, and sport body kit. coupes tend to drop in value in winter. Get it in the winter from a wintery state. then ship it home. you'll save a killing.

I can see where this is going

Like I said have you thought about doing some stuff to your sedan to make you happier?

You could add some 19's , you got the mid pipe... Put a Vortec S/C in, Tint your windows, lower the car, upgrade your tweeters, Add halos to your headlights, grounding kit, Spacer ... Stuff like this will make you want the car more!

I think the next thing i will do is going to be a set of Coupe Springs or a Full Cat back sysem with true Duals with two pipes... One on ither side of the car!

Then Maybe a year from now when the warranty is up... a Vortec Super Charger for me! Maybe i can find one used!

not a bad idea, although it seems he wants a bit of extra sex, in coupe form. no amount of modding will make the sedan a coupe.

You are very correct!! I did look at quite a few coupes recently...plus, have been looking at them since they first came out. Now is the time to get back to just two cars.

Hey Rich... was there a big difference in the driving feel between the Z and the G? Snappier throttle? Handling? etc

Maybe a bit..... Had been thinking of getting rid of the cobra since I drove it less than 2k miles last year.

Will,The Z's were great! Love them! A bit more bumpy, but very fast and fun!!!Still need a rear seat for now though.

The Furd will go online by the weekend for sale. cars.com has been pretty good for me. I've sold a couple of cars on it, plus sold cars on it for my friends.

SPECF***INGTACULAR!!!

Awesome that you got a coupe!!!

Might not be faster, but feels a lot better.

If you need another set of stickers for that car, I think I'll have a few left. Some people ordered, and aren't paying...

Paid $20,980 a little over KBB Private party Exc(44K miles, Prem Package, splash guards, trunk mat)

Gave me $16,000 which is KBB Private party Good (Carmax offered me $14,000 )

Mine was needing 2 new tires and brakes were grabbing.

Coupe has new Yoko S-drives and all new brakes (Infiniti)Also, was a 1 owner southern car with clean carfax.

Yes, I took the lazy way out, but really liked this one and thought the deal was good!!!

Beaner, I haven't used the other set - was going to put it on the Cobra, but now I'm going to sell it. Will check with the wife about putting a set on her G. Thanks!!!

Also, planning on getting an extended warranty.I know my credit union offers one.The dealer where I got it offers one thru ZURICH ????Anybody hear of them???

If I get it thru this dealer AND get them to do the work, they WAIVE the $100 deductible!!
