I went through tech school at Sheppard in 93...what a crap hole this place was then. Then I had 7-level school here in 00, marginally better, rental car, also a SSgt at the time.

This go around I'm a Civilian. I've only been here for a few months. Don't even know anyone local yet, civilian anyway.

I'll be up and out more often when my 240 is done.

My wife is an instructor out here now at Sheppard. I was also active for 12yrs as a Helo Crew Chief. I'm a Civ now though, following her around for another 6 years till she retires. We're hoping to get back to Hanscom up in Mass which is where I'm from originally.

Me? no haha. I almost did it a couple of times but decided I didn't want the extra hassle and politics. I'm a TSgt now, and also went there a few years back for the 2E6 Telecomm techschool there. My current job is Emergency Management (DP). I'm one of those bastards that make you sit through a 2hr Chemical Warefare refresher class once a year haha I'm probably gonna go back to E&I telecomm stuff tho

....Oh ya, and street racing rulz!!! As long as it's a rolling 20 race and you stop at 40 and no one is around as far as the eye can see

Man, I used to hate Chem Warfare...I ended up having to be in charge of Helo decon when I was stationed at Osan from 97-99. They didn't even have a checklist to use back then...what a PITA that was to gen up.

If you're ever back this way, I'll race ya...lol.

Ohhh god...chem warfare!! I don't miss "donning the mask". I was in a base phase 2 exercise while deployed to the desert...that really sucked. I didn't wanna say anything about Sheppard...but it was a S*** hole when I was their. I was a power pro, CE dork...X-trained to comm years later.
