Oops. I did it again.

Some of you may have seen this one for sale on ebay... Just for fun, I emailed the seller (who was selling TWO 411's, a sedan and a wagon).

He calls me today - Turns out he's a cool guy, knows his Dattos, and regrets listing the sedan for sale, as he wants to keep it.

15 minutes later, we've arranged for the wagon to have a new home.

Ugh. No clue where the hell I'm gonna put it. Time for a lift in the garage at NICO HQ.

I'm driving out to L.A. Saturday at the buttcrack of dawn with Jason (rotorimp) and driving her home.

WOOOO!!!!

How many Datsuns are left that AREN'T owned by a NICO member?

Pretty slick. I hope there is a safety that stops the lift if it senses weight on the upper portion. I'd hate to put that Rat through the roof.

I had a feeling you would "need" one of those cars in the auction...

That flyer is priceless!

How much land do you have in AZ dude, does your front lawn look like a parking lot?

Bring an extra one of your cars out with you when you come to pick up Becky. You can leave it at my place. There's already 10 cars living on a half acre lot.... what's one more With any luck, you'll forget it's there and I get to keep it

Seriously, tho.... that's a cool car. Maybe one of these days I'll land an S30..... the Datsun that started me on Nissans.

As much I like a 71-72 240z... I can wait later on it..

Right now my current delimma is bouncing between:

- 03-05 Yamaha R6, helmet, jacket, insurance, register, and course for cheaper insurance...- MILLER SYNCROWAVE 250, with tube bender w/ mandrel...- Or just save for a vertical 3 axis milling machine, retrofit with cnc...

Skip the bike, build your own TIG box for a good stick welder, buy a decent tubing bender and learn sand packing and buy an older Bridgeport with DRO's and learn to use it without CNC....

That way you knock out 2 items on the list for less money than you'd spend for one, plus you can upgrade later. I'm still in the market for a Bridgeport, but I may go ahead and get a Kearney Trecker if I can find the room.

I like the color on the Z, and I like the fact that you're keeping the bumpers.

I'm having trouble picking the "right" color for my car.

That's the plan.

Gonna start researching an AC retrofit so I can drive it in the summer.

Greg, I want to see you rocking one of those 50s-style window-mount swamp coolers on one of your restored Dattos.
