hey everyone!this is my first post here and hopefully it'll help me out.I have a '91 s13 and I'm having a really bad vibration in the steering wheel between 60 and 70 mph.I first thought it was due to a separated belt in the tire, but after replacing and balancing the tires the vibration was still there. I swapped to the stock teardrops and there was very little vibration. I tried another set of 17's and there was a vibration, but it was nowhere near that of my racing heart wheels. I checked the tie rods, and there doesn't seem to be any play in the joints. I just replaced the ball joints today. (I knew that wouldn't solve the vibration problem, they just needed to be replaced) I also noticed the sway bar\ tension rod bracket bolts were loose and thought that might be the problem, but there was no improvement
Mostly the suspension is stock. I have GR2's with intrex springs, and megan tension rods. I also have Q45 brakes, but that shouldn't cause any bad steering vibes.
I'm prolly gonna get some new tie rods to see if that does it. I need to replace the st. rack boots anyway
Anyone have any ideas where to look next?
