I like the color.

I'd say $16k is a heck of a deal for a dealer-serviced 330hp coupe with only 26k miles AND an extended warranty.

First mod when you buy it: paint that STUPID non-body-color windshield surround!

That chrome was the first thing that my eyes were drawn too, totally messes with the cars lines.

It's actually not chrome. It's painted silver. Why it's painted a DIFFERENT color than the rest of the car I have no idea. It almost makes sense on the convertible version. But...the hardtop isn't the convertible.

If I close my eyes and act as a pure car enthusiast I'd say go for it but once I open my eyes I just want to vomit. The Crossfire is hideous.

This is a great engine. My friend sold his Benz with the same motor in it. It hauled *** in that piggish machine too.

It would be acceptable on the convertable because it would appear as trim, on this car it visualy seperates the to halves of the car........still for around 17k its a steal, just paint the silver part and rip off the gigantic chrysler emblem.

Warranties on problem cars are good for one thing, ensuring that you drive a rental car.

I like them a lot. We had an SRT-6 Crossfire on our lot about a year and a half ago. Fun to drive, cushy enough, and for that price, its one hell of a car. I'd say go for it

My bosses boss, had one and loved it. He was involved in a head on collision last year, and was looking for another just like it, until he stumbled on an undeniable Boxster deal. His was a Black on Black 6 speed convertible, I don't think it had the AMG motor??

He walked away from a head on, where his air bag didn't deploy ... put the passenger side one did, that seat was empty. I think he's still working out a settlement with Chyrsler, but even with that he would have gladly had another one. He and I talk cars a lot (his budget is a LOT bigger than mine) and he'd love to have another one.

The extra power, stiffer springs, larger brakes seem to add nothing tot he used car retail?!?!

The only down side I see is the cost of replacing the rear 19's when the time comes

It's unique (not that many around) and it's not bad looking. I'm not a Chrysler fan, but I like that car. For 16k, I'd say "deal."

it's a really ugly Mercedes.

I work with a former Chrysler mechanic that isn't a fan of them for all the little problems and annoying means to fix them.

im gonna have to go with no. although it is a good deal, it doesnt have a lot of the features you've always talked about on other cars, ie- trunk room, room for passengers, reliability, and fun to drive (although the blower would help, the auto brings it back to a womans car). i would use the money for another clean bmw.

well here's my opinion. the car in itself is a very unique vehicle as the odds of coming across another one on the road are probably nil. hell i don't even think i've seen an actual SRT-6 with my own eyes. there were VERY few produced and they are known to run low 13's with a competent driver. as far as looks, it IS the most hideous 2 door vehicle to come from chrysler in the last ten years. what the designers were thinking i have no idea. looks like a BMW z3 with down's.

as far as the price, it's definitely priced properly. with it being auto, that is probably half the reason that it is at that price. mileage is pretty low for the year car it is and it seems to have been in good hands. the million dollar question will be what else are looking at? the srt-6 is a pretty unique find but i think the jesda could do with either a bigger car or another brand.

You need an on-the-fence vote option, cause its pluses and minuses are dead even to me.

Its not good for a long trip tho, you drive many cross-country miles jes.

Its being offered (like the last half dozen cars I had) by my friend in Florida. He's stressed out over debt and seeks relief, so its a combo of doing a friend of favor and getting a nice deal.

I'm not sure I'd buy one if it wasn't from him, but the price is very enticing so paying it off would be easy.

From some angles its gorgeous, and from others it looks dumpy, mostly because Chrysler decided to copy its looks on to lesser cars (Sebring).

Jesda. I think you should buy it, and if you don't like, I will fly out and buy it off you.

Seriously, if you buy it and in 6 months to a year change your mind, let me know.

Great looking car, you will get a lot of looks.

I drove one, friend of mine had one with 7k miles on it, so it was brand new. The ride was unbelievably harsh. Every pebble on the road could be felt. Car came with an auto transmission and the interior was made of hotwheels grade plastic.

His cars supercharger would work off and on. Eventually he traded it in for a 06 Stang GT.

Great bargain but not the greatest wheels on the road.

I am sure you knew all of it, so consider this just a reiteration.

I think it's priced about right so it won't burn you if you plan to flip it after a couple months. They were rather overpriced when new, so it's not surprising that you can find one that cheap now. The one I test drove had some nice oomph in a straight line, but didn't overly impress me in the corners. I felt it was more of a cruiser than sports car. But that might be what you want. You already know it's based on an old Mercedes platform but the ride is more jarring than the mercedes because of the 19" wheels. I thought the interior was more cramped than it should be and kinda cheap. It's certainly a vehicle that'll draw looks, butprobably not from real sports car folks.
