Well I think the time has finally come for my ol' KA to put out to pasture. She has 194,XXX miles on her... she starts, idles and runs great but when I sit idling for a few minutes (like at a stop light or drive thru) and then put it in 1st gear and rev up to move forward or take off I get a few puffs of bluish smoke from the exhaust. Now I know my front main is leaking but I'm guessing the smoke is from worn valve guides or worn piston rings. Like I said the car starts and runs great and doesn't act like it has worn rings (bad compression) but the oil is coming from somewhere. I generally burn/lose about a quart between oil changes. All in all not a bad engine for only "having" to change the water pump and the starter after 8 years and over 100,000 miles.

Oh well S14 SR here I come... until then enjoy some new pics!!

Man I just love your car. That's such a beautiful car. When I see Zenki's like yours, it makes me wonder why people would want a S15 or Kouki conversion. 194k miles? Yeah, freshen that sexy car up with lower mileage SR and f*ck any haters who comes on here with the whole, "Go RB, LS1, or KA-T".

I see you hate CA LOL. I'm from NorCal and I hated the south when I was there LOL.

Beautiful car...Nicely done. Not like you care but one thing I didn't like about is the interior where you painted the door handle trim panels white. Can't really tell from the picture but it seems like the center console is colored silver?

Well if you read, he said he's going SR...

DDgsxr504, why you going SR? You pretty much have everything to just build another KA-T....just curious.

The reason the door handle trim pieces are white is because I ran out of paint and I've been to lazy to pull the door panels off to remove them and paint them.

The reason I am going SR is because it is the much cheaper route. I can get an S14 SR for $2800 and install it myself.

A KA-T setup will cost way more than that by the time it's all said and done.

I think you have the sexiest Zenki I've seen in a while. Is your KA NA or turbo, I always assumed you had an SR or something in your car.

got excite for your mom? CA's just dont seem right in s14s, imo.

OP, car looks awesome as hell. perhaps you should at least consider ka-t sometime in the near future. its the only way to go

what tires do you have on the fn's? they look pretty beefy in the front.

Very Very Clean! Wow!

My KA is doing the EXACT same thing as yours. Starts up runs AMAZING and surprisingly stronger than normal, but when I take off from 1st, smoke bellows out of the muffler and reduces the person behind me's visibility by 90%

Whats crazy is i know for SURE that you are the inventor of the term "get excite!!!" just how you were the first to have 350z wheels. lay off him man. actually a bunch of us local guys were chilling the other day and wanted to get something to signify our local crew and we got some "get excite!!!" vinyls made b/c we thought it was an off-the-wall thing that is just kinda fun. my car rocks one, wanna come at me too? "omg, they like the things i like... i cant have that... i must be the ONLY person to like this thing." You like it, we like it. Hell, if i saw someone with a vinyl that said that and i didnt know them, id sure as anything think "whoa, thats kinda cool, maybe i should talk to em and check out their car... etc" not "i dont like them cus they like things in common with my interests"

f**kin society man... this world is going to in a handbasket....

Well I've always heard that I should go KA-T but like I said that would require a full rebuild on the motor with beefier internals and a complete overhaul on all the other components. I'm one of those people who like to do it right the first time. If I go KA-T I want to do it right with and make it reliable for boost over 5-7psi. An SR swap is easier and more reliable for less money than the KA-T route.

For everyone that keeps asking my wheels are 5Zigen FN01RC in 17x9 +15 front with a 235/45 tire and 17x10 +12 rear with a 255/40
