What about the spare tire well? Have you thought of cutting it out and welding in a flat sheet of metal? Or would that be a big no-no.

its going to be cut for a fuelsafe fuel cell | Quote, originally posted by Kataki_ » | | I think that might be a no no..just depends on if anything runs under that has to be bolted up too it, dunno never looked that hard. |
Theres a lot of different fabrications that can be done, i plan on just using some sort of square tubing and just make it hold the fuel cell in place. Prbly make sumthin like a basket for the bottom part of the fuel cell. | Quote, originally posted by Asmar » | | Those rims look sick. What are they? |
i had the sportmaxs when they were hott shiet haha. They were seriously way too heavy, and i would hate having to throw em around for events. Luckily i rock drifz wheels now that u see on the red s13

thats some damn good welds, you might wanna fix your buddies engine bay though, were the intercooler pips are it cant be that open from my understanding. my friends car is that way and he is about to run into a hugh problem unless i fix it before the season starts. looks great tho

Looks good are you going to put rails running along the top of the door and down the a-pillar? What about along the bottom of the door? My step-dad has a bar that is removable that you can pull closed. It has a huge hinge on it and you can only open it when the door is open. Its weird but really cool. The drivers door opens this way / and the bar opens up this way \ if you get what i mean if not I can get him to send me some pictures of it. It has a handle with a solid metal rod that is spring compressed and when you put it in place you can lock it in there. Its interesting how it works. Its like a rod inside a tube that locks 2 tubes together. 0=0 if you can imagine that....

yeh in those pics his car isnt fully complete. We took that piping off and hes getting custom ones done to it. Hes putting the motor back in with his rebuilt tranny, and hes painting the cage and interior this weekend. Then after that its just wiring and a wrap and its ready to go!
