what kind of oil do you run in your SR?

10W-30 Royal Purple.Im not a big fan of Mobil 1. It doesnt hold oil pressure as well as Royal Purple after about a month of use.

My old S14's just been using mainly Castrol 10w 30 for over 5 years now and daily driven without any problems. I think the trick is to change your oil before 3000 miles religiously.

Use any synthetic and you'll be alright.

Royal purple and amsoil are mad expensive, but better quality. Basically more resistant to breakdown, more or better quality detergants to clean up and neutralize deposits, and more slippery.

You'll probably see 2 more horsepower on a dyno compared to a conventional synthetic.
