Stacey L. Childs (a.k.a. "NICOmom") 1970 - 2007

It is with profound sorrow and excruciating pain that I bring you this news...

Stacey, my best friend, wife of 13 years, mother of my three gorgeous kids, passed away this evening after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer.

Many of you remember her as "NICOmom" here on the boards...

She was the driving force behind everything we've accomplished here, and always supported my dream of building the biggest Nissan site on the web.

I spent a little time this evening reading her old posts and missing her terribly.

We put together a memorial website for Stacey at http://www.staceychilds.com, I hope you'll take a minute to browse it, watch her video and remember her.

Hug your loved ones in her memory, and be good to each other.

I feel so bad for you and your family. I'm not a religious man but I will say some prayers for you and your family and your lovely wife. She was one strong woman.

If you wish to help out, please consider contributing to one of the charities listed on the memorial page.

I also request everyone refrain from hitting Greg up via IM as he is dealing with this tragedy.

I'm so sorry to hear that Greg. At least she isn't suffering anymore. Be strong and my condolences to you and your family. Just so you could put a sn to a face, I was the one with the green s14 who met you at pipeline pizza. Hang in there!

Greg that was a very nice website you put up for my sister. You have always been a joy to have in the family (I don't count all the bickering you've had with mom I'll always be there for you and the kids so please don't hesitate to call me. Jim

It saddens me to hear this news.I knew she was fighting this, and she did well to go on this long.I am sad that I never got to meet her, or try her awesome BBQ.....As I have said in the past, I will do what I can from here for you.May she rest in peace, and I will miss her posts.She seemed to have a sarcastic streak, just like me.... I'm sure we would have got on well, and had a lot of laughs together.Keep strong Greg.

I feel for you greg. I have some words that my mom told me when my grandma died of diabeties. Mu mom told me that "at least shes not hurting anymore". Don't know if it will help you but it did for me. May she rest in peace
