The question is, how much would a CF driveshaft cost for an AP1?

Hmm. I'd like to know too. I'm mad now. I have a steel one piece from the DSS people for that price. Wonder kind of warranty they have and how they stand behind their stuff though...

their site says the welds are warrantied for life.

I also went and searched them and found alot of good reviews from mustang and 4 wheeler(jeeps/crawlers) owners.

couple of weeks i might have to get one of these. Beats replacing the damn carrier bearing.

I'd also like to know the weight. Also, will there be any group buys by any chance? Seems like we have a lot of people interested.

It's light. 'Nuff said.

Why would we need a group buy when the price is already lower than most places charge for a steel driveshaft?

When shipping the S13 or S14 shaft they typically weigh 14-15lbs. That is with the packaging included. Thanks, David

Not sure what the trans yoke and rear flange are for the GT-S. However, if you could provide some measurements we will see what we can do. Call us toll free at 1-866-912-2004. I can email sheets showing how to measure trans yoke and flange and shaft length. Thanks, David

Dan,S14 RB25DET uses the same trans yoke & flange as the S13 RB25DET. It would simply be a matter of shaft length. You provide the measurement and we will make the shaft. Thanks, David

Excuse my ignorance, but what are the benefits of a new driveshaft?
