Always the real thing, always 240sx. Qudos to you for holding the course. You must have a tremendous amount of patience and fortitude, along with deep pockets to stay the course. While there are things I might do differently, I commend you on your vision and passion. At the end of the day it will be uniquely your project and dream come to reality. That is a dream we chase in our own ways but rarely fulfil. For all those talk about what they're going to but have one excuse or another, you keep on track. As far the money goes, you could spend 50k on a new car, but it would only be one amongst many of the same. Your project will yield a truly custom car like no other. Keep going!

a bunch more pics here. we got the bed rails on, sides cut, and fixed the little quarter panel injury. also got some s14 seats for it (temporarily until i find some nice seats) and test fitted the kit thats going to go on it. 5 lug and coilovers are on the way. :D and also i think ima go KAT. just because i havent done one yet and want to see what its going to be like. anyways, the pics!

holy hell. i've wanted to do this for so long. very inspiring. if i ever get a spare shell i'll be doing the same. then removing the floor pan, dubbing the fenders and flattening the deck. real truck-ish.can't wait till it's done. you are fairly local, wanna see it in person. good luck, keep up the work and thread updated.

hey that looks awesome. just a quick question. I have the same welder but it seems like its too powerful for the sheet metal on the 240...What setting do you have yours set to? Or is it the wire your using? Your welds are coming out way more pretty then mine.

the welding we were doing last night was on the hottest level, with the wire feed on 3 or 4

lol. I love it I was so gonna do this to my car but then was like.... hum. I have a clean *** car thats 0 rust and it cost me a lot back in the day. If it were a 100 dollar car id be down though. Hope it turns out good man, Good luck with it. I think they are neat but discusting at the same time.
