you add the IMG][/IMG deal with the brackets... then in between the brackets you insert the pictures location on the internet i right click the picture select copy image location then paste it in between the two image brackets. | Quote, originally posted by bigwhiteboybob » | | [how do i post a picture? |

Just double checking but a slightly bent front sway bar can cause an uneven sitting car correct?

It might, but it would be a very slightly uneven sitting car. Usually uneven cars are caused by a suspension mount being broken or bent... or a spring being broken.

and thats verry true cause when i hit railroad tracks its like the wave weeeeeeeeeeeeee up and down side to side... my entire suspension is pretty much blown.... shocks, springs, rods, bushings, dampers, tension rods, possibly tweeked out sway bars, basically all of it in between there too. ive been real hard on the car but ima treat it right with some tein super drifts and edfc module. and possibly a nismo clutch locking differential.... or stick to the lsd idk yet. then after all the handling is complete sr20 gets dropped in.... or rb26 damnit i cant make up my mind... well my money will do that sr it is

yea that was the plan handling then power. but here is my question on parallel wiring if i attach a hot lead to a metal plate and a ground to the led wire will that work.... basically i would solder the positive and negative side of all but one led to the metal plate with power in it, and on the last led in the sequence i leave the ground lead out and ground it... will this work or will only the last led light up? or will i create multiple shorts on each led solderd to the plate....... i was going to test this idea out first on just a row of 5 for my glove box. the reason i want to do this is so they are all aligned in a row and to save on wiring times supply and such. so any one know? or do i have to do it the normal way with lots of wires?

Sounds like you are talking about LEDs and putting them in parallel. SO yeah you can use two BUS bars to do so. Anode to + Cathode to - just make sure they are rated 12V if not ad resistor across the bus too 2ohm 25W min

A pretty off-topic question but, I was under my car and noticed that my rear o2 sensor is gone. The PO installed a whole new exhaust (header back). Does any one know where I could get one (cheap). I know bosche makes universal ones, but this is a skinny three wire.

I just want to clear something up real quick before I spend more money. My right headlight is currently out. I replaced the bulb and it still doesnt turn on. I just replaced the fuse as well. When I have my high beams on, it works fine. From what Ive searched, Im leaning towards the headlight switch. Could it be anything else? If it is the switch, is that the only piece I need.. or do I need any wires, etc? Thanks in advance.

You can get an OE NGK unit from http://www.sparkplugs.com who also happens to be a NICO sponsor. | Quote, originally posted by rootS13 » | | I just want to clear something up real quick before I spend more money. I would grab a multi meter and see if you are getting voltage at the harness when you turn the switch on. I would think that if the other light is working, then it wouldn't be the switch.

that doesn't sound like parallel wiring to me if anything only the first light would light up, i have to go positive connect to the negative of the next led and repeat until done then ground... but i do it backwards id run the power thru the led all the way to my switch then use my switch to ground. either way works just the same but ive got it going now im just mounting each one to a plastic bar and soldering copper wire in parallel to each led. should be fun

Goin KA-T in the summer, looking to get a BRM Exhaust should I go 2.5" or 3"? Also from your guys personal experience what size resonator would be best 14", 18" or 22"?

I'm a little confused, does the AEM Patch/Extension Harness connect the ECU straight to the FIC or does it come off the FIC and connect it to gauges and such?

I just bought a KA24DE out of a 1996 240. I also bought an ecu/harness, but those are from a 1991-1992 S13 DOHC. Will it all work together or have I just wasted my money on the electronics?I'm dropping all of this into an old datsun pickup.

That should work fine. There will be some things that you won't plug into on the engine, but I think most of the connectors are the same. Now, if you went the other way, you'd be screwed. (91 engine with a 96 harness/ECU).

Good hunting then. I think the array of parts I got from the seller is missing a few sensors and electrical stuff, somewhere there's a list of necessities to make it run... Also keep in mind it will be ran in a historic vehicle that has no emissions test required. My buddy said there was a intake manifold emission delete page?

alright so I replaced my knuckle and control arm on the side I though might be bent causing an uneven drop, It helped very minutely but there is still about a 2-3cm difference in sides, So I did what I should have done in the first place and measured the 2 strut mounting bolt holes to the top of the cylinder where the spring mount begins and found that that is where my difference is. As well as the lower spring mount is a lot closer to this tire than the other. So I'm pretty sure I need a new driver side strut but the ones I have are really fairly new (1 year maybe 10k miles) I also heard somewhere online that the drivers side is shorter than the passenger, but no confirmation. anyone want to confirm this for me. Thanks

Which heater hose goes to which hole? Lets call this hose ONE:
And this one between the valve cover and firewall hose TWO:
Which one goes where? Sorry for being retarded
ALSO, the intercooler i got came with no instructions and a bunch of brackets. I see absolutely no way to install it with given brackets. The intercooler is way too thick to fit between the hood latch and radiator cross bars and the front bumper thing...see: Hardware:
 Not fitting:
These brackets aren't even close to being able to bolt up to anything:
And it hits these bars that are bolted to the radiator cross, and that hold four of the front bumper bolts:
How did you guys hook yours up? Sorry for all the pics thanks for any help.

hehe.. i remember these exact headaches... I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter which heater hose goes in which one. But I placed hose 1 in the bottom hole, if I remember correctly. As far as the intercooler goes, it looks like you have a universal kit. There is a screw in the front of your hood latch. Most FMICs have got a bracket at the top center that can connect there. Then your 2 bent brackets can be used for the bottom of the FMIC. As far as your intercooler fitting, you'll need to either notch your front bumper support or remove it. (Notching it can cause insurance not to cover you in an accident, and removing it is illegal.) I removed mine, but mine also isn't a DD.

Drift seems to be the only reason anyone gets a 240.. i want one but i want to modify it to be quick and handle well, i could care less about drifting. Does anybody else feel the same way?

I bought a KA24DE out of a 96'. I have totally disassembled the rotating assembly, and it looks pretty good. I'm planning to do a stock rebuild after I clean all the parts. My plan: I know that this engine can do 160 stock, so I'd like to build it in a way that is capable of a low psi (daily drivable) turbo down the road. I'm not going to turbo it for a few years at least. I'm thinking around 250 crank hp. What should I invest in now that will handle the turbo later on? What stock components can I keep? Also, the head I bought obviously blew a gasket (I overlooked this upon buying it). It also has slight damage near the front end. Can I machine this out and reuse the head? or should I invest in another one? I would send a picture of the damage, but the parts are currently at my friends house 15 Min away. Can I use the stock valves and springs/retainers? What should I replace?

http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/99647 http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/226410 250 at the crank is pretty easily attainable on stock components. The only thing you'll really have to upgrade is your fuel system.

Ok I after selling my Camaro that I currently have, I will have about 11,500 dollars to spend on my next car. I've been looking around and I want to do a 2JZ swap but its pretty damn expensive. My goal is to get the car to have around 300-450 hp. Is there any other swap or ideas to get the car to that much hp within my budget?

Thanks for the link that guys car is pretty slick. The car I want to swap the jz in is a s14. I like that guys car but I really want a 6 cylinder. That means my options are limited to the vq, rb, or 2jz. I'm really aiming for the jz but I'm finding out if I want it done right the parts alone cost about 11800 dollars. Plus I have little experience under the hood so I of course will bringing it to a shop.
