RPM at cruising speed, i have no idea, havent connected the tach yet lol.As far as hos does it feel , well its a very interesting sensation. The car has this surge of power off idle, and then it kind of levels out then at higher rpms it has a second surge of power till it hits the limiter.

If you're running the stock ECU I should set you up with an upgraded ECU. It turns the thing into a SCREAMER.

Id expect anywhere from 20-30HP, however the powerband is different. Basically you dont get that "sinking" feeling in the middle, it starts off strong and once you get to about 3500 the thing just starts pulling like a freight train. Our ECU's are switchable so you can switch between stock and upgraded.

How's that tach man. I'm dying to know the cruising speed also because I can get a sweet deal on a vh45.
Here's a "JDM" for ya. How about we all move to japan with our watered down version of silvs and 180s, turbo the ka, and be in the touge.

How did you get the tach to work? Did you have to get it recalibrated or is there a way to make it work with the infiniti ECU? I think when I do my swap the RPM's are gonna be a tad lower since I put the Q45 3.54 R200 into my S14 (man it sure kills the KA..it's torquey enough to not strain but man it's a dog....but the gas mileage improved)

Doesn't the tach get its signal from the ignitor chip? If so, the VH uses two just like a pair of 4 cylinders. Hook up the tach input to one of them and you should be good to go.

Buy an engine and all the parts necessary first... build your parts inventory until you have what you need to do the conversion, then go from there.

I wouldn't be suprised if they did. In Mexico they sold the B13 Sentra for many years after the B14 came out, with little more than a minor headlight update. It's mostly only the US market which provokes such rapid development cycles due to changing emissions and safetly regulations. Not convinced? Here's another example: Z32 300ZX! What'd they sell that until 2000 or 2001 or somethign like that. They were only without a Z for a couple years AFAIK, while we were missing it for ~7 model years. Wow is this thread getting off topic, and no thanks to me

I did not weld the collectors on they just slide in. The trick is to get all the pipes straight and it will seal, if one is slightly crooked it will leak at first then seal once it heats up. On my car driverside seals perfect but when i redid the one pipe on the passenger side it kind is off a few degrees so it doesnt seal until it heats up.

I ditto your request.I`m trying to wire up my vh45 into a dodge dakota. When I turn on the ignition,I have the relayed power to the fuel pump and controller working off of the ecu ok,I`m getting gas to the engine.I have relayed power to the coils too.The engine cranks,I`m getting power at the coils, injectors. The damn thing won`t start.I do have one bad injector though engine ran ok before I started the swap. The only thing that I can think of is that ecu Ignition signal,Start signal and how I am suppling the power to the ecu is not correct. QUESTIONS: ecu pins 1,2,3,11,12,13,14,15 are ignition signal wires where do they lead?Pin 43, Start Signal,How did you hook yours?Pin 45, Ignition Switch. Diagram shows it connecting up at fuel pump relay circuit between relay and ignition switch. That works OK but when Key is turned off, ecu won`t power down for me.Pins 48,49,58,59 look like power supply to ecu.How did you wire yours?Like injectors and coils, that have both 12V power and ecu pin out wires connected to them, are there any other engine components that need 12V power in addition to the pin out wires? This is an awful long post and maybe it is in the wrong place, but you mentioned needing wiring specifics from GS Racer and maybe a lot of other people could benefit from a more detailed account so as someone on this site said to not "Re-invent The Wheel"
