Do a good write-up and it'll be an article, not a sticky. (There's too many as it is... )

haha the front is a cake walk... good luck with the rears...

notice how the fronts are all cut in half? and the rears are not? well it will make your life a million times easier if you cut the rears in half (put a hack saw in a vise upside down and saw the bushing over the saw, and number each half so they get put together as a pair, bc no one can cut them evenly in half)

yea yea yea if they were supposed to be cut they already would have, but omfg is it basically impossible to do it w/o halving them.

good luck

this is what smokey the bear told you *not* to do

note the dry brush, also known as 'kindling' overlapping onto the metal

If you can't figure it out from the pics then you have no right working on a car...

Right, cause the first time Mr Attention drifter whore touched a car, he knew everything about it anyways, like everyone else...making this write up pointless according to you...so you're just doing it for the custom title heh?

I suggest "LOOK AT ME!!" as your new title! Anyone with me?

not a bad write up. i did it similar to that on my old civic. but i actually drilled the rubber out and cut the inner ring like you said.

and you're wrong about people not working on a car if they don't know where those parts are and how they work.

what kind of springs and shocks are you running with these bushings?

since the parts are coming out you may want to sandblast and repaint the pieces. looks brand new.

Dude there are pictures! if you were to look at the picture then look at the car you would know exactly where everything is.. That's my point...

I'm doing the writeup because the ES instructions SUCK.

good writeup. a word of warning though. if you use the urethane tension rod bushings for a prolonged period of time (a few years) it will eventually cause your lower control arms to crack and break where the 2 tension rod studs go through the lower control arm.i've had to replace control arms on a buddy's car because of it and they weren't cheap. well maybe junkyard ones would be cheap

the fronts are easy, lmk how u will get the rear links bushings in without cutting them or taking it to a shop (too pricey)

They updated the bushing design since then.

Kenrik, thanks for the write up. If you do a write up replacing the entire set of those bushings... that will be awesome.

GL and good job.

doesnt seem like you tried to put any time into the write up.

going to cover all sides?rear too?

little more detail and instructions would be appreciated,of course, most can find out by looking at the pics, as they're self explanatory, but what about the newbies?

hey dude, i was told to leave the inner ring on the tenison rod.Though from the way the new bushing looks and your description, i'm thinking he's wrong. I've already pressed out the rubber bushing, though i left the ring. i'm going to cut the ring tomorrow.

Quick question, should i also cut the inner ring on the control arms and sway? By the looks of the new bushings, i should.
