I finally got my supercharger kit from Thomas Knight installed last weekend. This is the way the KA should have come from the factory. This install is not for the faint of heart as it requires heavy modification the stock Idle air tubing. All in all, well worth the money.

Wow. How much boost are you running? And did you upgrade the cooling system or not necessary?

Looks interesting. The massive piping just jumps out of the picture.

Sorry for the lack of detail. I was in a hurry. I have not made it to the dyno yet so I don't have numbers, but here is what I'm running.

m62 supercharger with 9 psi pulleyBikirom engine management'95 ecu370cc Silvia injectorsWalbro fuel pump4-2-1 long header 3" header back custom exhaust

That's about it for the engine. It looks bad right now, but I'm in the process of cleaning up the engine bay. The silicone boots will all match and the idle air adapter plate will be given the black out treatment. By NOPI, everything will be looking good.

I will post dyno charts and better pics as they come available.

Water/alcohol injection on my soon to-do list.

In the other thread about this SC system Knight said he was gonna get a new website up for it, with more info and stuff. Do you know if this is ready yet?

while we are still working on the website, eaton and centrifugal kits can still be ordered thru the boosthead site or by calling 786-243-2000 or 786-286-9932

We just got it tuned better last weekend and it's awesome. Don't know about shredding power with normal Tire's as Watty has 20in of rubber underneth so it just grabs and goes (plus he has potenza's on there and I don't think he want's to replace them in the near future). It's not crazy fast but definatly what they should have been from the factory plus some. Throttle response is AMAZING. You just tap the gas and you feel it.

Looks very interesting. All this talk of supercharging a 240 for years and years, and I have yet to see one that was completed AND dynoed.

I want to see what the power curve looks like.

Sorry to have been teasing you guys so much. I just started a new job and have a lot of other stuff going on right now. I promise I will get it dynoed in the near future along with more pics as we clean up the engine bay. I will be out of town next week, so it will probably be after that unless I come up with some magical free time. Regardless, I will have everything completed by NOPI and feel free to stop buy and say hi. Also Shar is working on a basic write up at the moment to help explain what all it took to do the install.

Hang in there guys, I promise more is coming. (Plus Water/Alcohol Injection )

The cost of the setup is kinda tricky since I got one of the first kits at a discounted rate and I'm sort of an eBay whore. Anyway, here is a list of what I paid for everything:

Supercharger kit $1250370cc Injectors $80Misc. Install parts (i.e. coolant, boots, etc.) $150Bikirom engine management $250Zeitronics wideband O2 w/digital display $370Boost gauge w/install kit $3395 obd I ecu $15Headers $1503" Exhaust w/muffler $100

If you have an s13, you will need to upgrade your MAF.

I'm sure I'm missing something, but that a quick run down. Also, doing this install in Alabama in 100 degree heat and 65% humidity is only for the true fanatics out there. Although, when you have a supercharger kit sitting in front of you, your motivation level amazingly goes way up.

I think someone asked how it drove. It is really nice and smooth. The throttle response is great. You shred the tires all the way through a corner or baby it out in the rain. Also, having a full 9 pounds of boost as low as 1500 rpm is really nice. I recomend this for anyone who is not looking for 500 HP and just wants the car to drive really strong without that aniemic (sp?) feeling in the upper rpm band. Remember, I have done no porting to the motor, intake manifold, or supercharger all of which will increase the efficiency of the whole system. This is all planned for when the temperature drops this fall.

Hope this helps,Watty

Yeah, I'd say 175 lbs torque at 2100 rpm would make for a very fun daily driver!!
