you'd better be a fast runner cuz I'm sure the owner would be FORCED to kick in your head. Disrespecting someones car isn't cool/hot/fresh w/e you wanna call it. people who key, scratch, dent, KICK or do anything to damage someone else's car should be SHOT.

Damn how I wish I was a mod so that I could just ban people like you. Just because you don't have the balls to run a full widebody and an rb, doesn't mean you need to talk ****.

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever tried to move the doors out on a wide body kit. I think a 240sx would look really sweet with the wide body and doors that were not sunk so far in. Obviously, the door glass would be an issue but I've seen people do some pretty genius stuff before.

It may look like s*** but there is only one way to find out, I can't afford it. It just seems like people put tons of work into the wide body kits but the doors never match.

well I thought about doing it but there's more work to it then you think, you have to do alot of work where the fender and door meet, plus I like it open so air can escape, like the GT cars(but not as good!..lol)

I think even half way would be unique. You would get the venting and air that you want. It would be a one of a kind, not that it won't be once your done.

My original post was really just to see if anyone had done it or seen it done.

I'm wondering about just bringing the doors out and not have to deal w/the glass?

well, I'm putting in a roll cage, front and back strut bars, and the Do-Luck cross bar to help stiffen up the chassis so I think I'll be fine.

I'm loving it. Wasn't too crazy about it when I first saw it, but teamed with an RB, functional vents, and a modified bumper it will look pretty badass.

I've always wondered about a door piece to line up with sideskirts that raise up about a foot toward the top of the car in front of and behind the door itself (think zenki nismo ones).

How about a photoshop of making the hood and pop-up headlight covers one piece, with the fixed headlights shining through all the time. Like you did, but instead of the covers that's actually part of your hood.

LOL at functional vents. yeah a huge hole in the side of the car with no direction is a super vent job. i guess if the goal is to get rocks in the suspension then its pretty functional.

I partially agree that there may not be much engineering to the vents, but a hole in the body line is going to create a low pressure zone no matter how you look at it, so there will be airflow... significant i might add. Not many ppl know much about the engineering behind turbo'ing their cars (not to the max potential), but they get the gist of it and attain significant gains. Some sort of screen will keep rocks out of the way...

I've thought about the drag and I'm using the Ab-Flug 300zx cf rear diffuser, we took out the gas tank to make room for it(and room for duel exhaust) so I do have a escape rout for the air...lol..we will be directing the air through there. now I'm not an engineer but I play one on TV

I'm using a black mesh in the back part of the vent(by the wheel) to stop any debree from hitting my suspenion.
here is a pic of the rear diffuser I bought

so with the rear diffuser and R33 lights and custom ONELINE wing, it'll look something like this, but better!($hitty photochop) oh yeah I'm paiting it Mercede-Benz silver, so it'll be close to the color of the wheels.

I was going to save this for a suprise but I'm not using the top peice of the SUPER MADE light, I'm going to find a company to make me a plastic peice to cover the whole top(kinda like the Grim lights but a whole lot cheaper!!)
but thats the plan for now, it might change

I really wan't gonna comment on the modena front bumper, but the rear is just taking it too far imo. Of course it's your car, but why not to take it away from the pinifarina idea?

I agree. More separation of the tailight panels is good. Shaving it all is bad.

well I didn't get the idea from the ferrari, there's tons of car and even body kits(front bumper) that have the same three vents like I want that aren't ferraris, like this one(not the same but similar)

I wasn't shaving anything, the kit comes with a one peice with lights, I don't like the lights the kit came with so thats why I'm putting in the R33s(just the light, not the whole peice), and I think since I have a R33 motor and its a nissan, that sorta gives me the right to use them.(i know how people feel about using tails that aren't for that car)

Ohh ok. I just saw that in your photochop, there is no sepparation between the tailight bar and the tailights, and they tailights are just there. No frame or seams whatsoever.
