IMAX is opening a screen in one of KC's theaters, with Transformers 2 being it's first ever movie showing. I'm going to double check what time we want and will be placing my order pretty soon.

Anyone else preparing/prepared for the movie release?

I'm planning to do the same thing that I did when the first Transformers movie released.....ignore it until it runs on HBO.

I've gotta see it in the IMAX though. My HT puts my local theater to shame (minus the screen that is), but the IMAX should have a much nicer audio system, which I'm currently looking into to find out just what brand and components they're using. That info is hard to find though.

Huge screen, new seats, and awesome audio (I hope) should make my $15/ticket plus 65mile drive worth it. Oh, we're going to a nice BBQ place for father's day too.

Well im gonna watch it on Wednesday no need to rush buying tickets cuz im going to watch the 11:00AM show....its almost always empty.

Been lookin forward to this for a while. I jus wish Bay respected the originals a little bit more. Nonetheless, should be a fun scope.

The Fallen is the weakest character in all of TF history and they are going to bring him/it.Damnit bring Shockwave, he would make a lovely villain against both Decepticons and Autobots.

I finally saw the first Transformers on HBO or whatever late last year. I'll go see TF2 when its about to end its theater run, to avoid crowds.

Granted it's a WW2 movie and it has Brad Pitt, it seems so cool it ought to be original...

Theres a bunch of them. They even get there own category at the academy awards.Best Original Screenplay

Although some are based on real life events so i dont know if that counts as Original movie. But nonetheless most nominees in that category are original movies written from scratch.

Dude, i have to drive 100 miles, so 65 is nothing. Heck he can make the trip in just over an hour and never break the speed limit.Everytime i make the trip i have to clock the speedo just to make decent time. Nonetheless, its New Orleans so the only times ive even visited an IMAX was during one of my drunken weekends so its usually worth the trip......

Revenge of The Fallen was pretty good. I saw it yesterday with my kids. It has some humorus parts, some sad parts, and some kick arse parts. I liked it. But, then again, I don't over anylize movies to the point that some do.

I think you all will like it, especially on an IMAX screen. Wish they had those over here...

I hate Shia LeDouche. I wish he'd GTFO of hollywood so I don't have to keep putting up with him in movies I might otherwise enjoy. At least the writers of Constantine had the good sense to kill the little rectum-faced pygmy off.And I feel no urgent need to rush to see this latest Michael Bay pointless explosionfest. I mean, I LOVE explosions, more than just about anyone (yes, even you...I promise) but I can get random pointless explosions without paying $10 to waste 2 hours sitting through bad writing and Shia Lesmeggingdouchepants.
