As most of u know my story of parts being stolen off my car, its time to rebuild my car and bring it back from the dead haha. Luckily i have a good friend who has a garage with a lift so we basically do all the work we can to get the cars done.

my car use to be like this.

to this

i finally had time to start workin on it. And im getting it prepped for a roll cage.this took countless hours of scrubbing with a brillo pad and simple green...

the only thing that keeps me wanting to finish this car!My ka!!Rebuilt with BC internals

i gotta a lot of work to do, but its just a matter of putting it back together when i get it back from the shop.

Now onto my buddy steves story haha.

We went to vir last year, stayed there for the weekend, drifted for a full day and a half, qualifying comes around, bang he somehow managed to crash pretty bad sending his car into a wall.

luckily we managed to get a shell for 300 bux from a good friend of ours. And we started work immediately. His build is farther then mine being he started a few months ago, he's sending the car for a cage tomo.

What about the spare tire well? Have you thought of cutting it out and welding in a flat sheet of metal? Or would that be a big no-no.

its going to be cut for a fuelsafe fuel cell

Theres a lot of different fabrications that can be done, i plan on just using some sort of square tubing and just make it hold the fuel cell in place. Prbly make sumthin like a basket for the bottom part of the fuel cell.

i had the sportmaxs when they were hott shiet haha. They were seriously way too heavy, and i would hate having to throw em around for events. Luckily i rock drifz wheels now that u see on the red s13

Looks good are you going to put rails running along the top of the door and down the a-pillar? What about along the bottom of the door? My step-dad has a bar that is removable that you can pull closed. It has a huge hinge on it and you can only open it when the door is open. Its weird but really cool. The drivers door opens this way / and the bar opens up this way \ if you get what i mean if not I can get him to send me some pictures of it. It has a handle with a solid metal rod that is spring compressed and when you put it in place you can lock it in there. Its interesting how it works. Its like a rod inside a tube that locks 2 tubes together. 0=0 if you can imagine that....
