Are you talking about replacing the combo fog/high beam lights? If so, it's a little bit difficult without removing the front wheels. You have to remove the front wheel well covers and it's right there.

Yeah, I threw in some PIAA xtreme force into mine, they matched up perfectly, color wise with the headlamps. Size H4 or 9003Also, mine is the 06 sedan, so I don't know if it's different for the coupe, but it's probably the same.

No, not at the moment. My sister borrowed my Digi Camera. I'll see if I can pull out the Video camera and take a few pics with that.

I will be replacing my fog lights with piaa h1 extreme white plus bulbs. My side marker lights and the other little ones in the headlight assembly I will be changing to piaa extreme white wedge bulbs. And pics will be coming as soon as the install is finished.

NOOOO, H1's don't fit, at least not the 05-06. We have H4's/9003.

Side viewI took a few from the front, but since I don't have any options with my video camera, the headlamps were just white washed.

I know stock sides look like crap, clear ones are near Christmas.

I went to Sylvania and got the Low down. The H1 bulb is for the G35 that doesn't have HID Low beams. I think only the first couple of months of the 2003 model year, they had offered this lower version. If you have cloth seats, then this is for you, but if you are like the other 90+ % of the G35 owners then You want the H4/9003 Light.

For further reference, here is a picture of the stock light that comes with our car. Notice it has 3 leads, while the H1 only has 1.I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just trying to make sure you don't make a mistake and buy the wrong bulb.

I'm really surprised that Nissan put H1's into a G35, that's just crazy. My '89 GT-R had a H1 in it, I replaced the headlights from a 93 and got H3c's in that one. In 2003 they actually used H1's that is mind boggling.

I was looking on E-Bay and they Have the Piaa xTreme force like the ones that I have, but they are a little bit different. It looks like they don't offer the 160w (from 80w) low beam, it is now 110w. So it won't be as bright as mine is, but it will work the same as the color temp looks the same. Also I noticed that mine say Super Low Beam and none of the Ebay ones do.I have bought many products from E-bay and have not been burned yet, 1 person tried, but when I complained my part came promptly.

I feel like a big time idiot now. According to our Owners Manual, the coupe has H1's. But according to Sylvania, your light assembly has an HID, a 9003 (H4), and an H1, wtf??? I say pull out your light and see for yourself exactly which bulb you need. I hate all the conflicting information there is.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out how the High beam is an H4 and the fog is an H1, when in the Sedan, it's the same bulb. Weird. If I steered you in the wrong direction, I sincerely apologize.

Broke down the foglight confusion. I think. 03-05 use the h4 for the fog. The 06 uses the h1 for the fog.

Oh crap, that's what happened. The first time I looked at the Sylvania site, I must have looked up the 05, because I remember seeing the with HID, or replaceable Halogen. It still doesn't make sense to me though, how and why they woudl have put 3 bulbs in your headlight. HID doesn't do High beam, and H1 doesn't do Hi beam, so they used a 9003/h4 for it, but a different bulb for the fogs? Mind is boggled. Let us know what you find out when you open your headlight.

I believe my projector light does the low beam and high beam. The fogs actually turn off when I put my highs on. Weird isnt it.

Normally when you turn on your high beam it will turn off you low beams. Since, at least on mine, the Fog is using a low beam light, when you turn on your highs it will turn that one off.

That's a good point, I have used this high wattage bulb in a couple of cars now, so I'm not worried about it. I did notice that when I turn on the fogs now, you can hear the system bogging down, so I'm thinking about getting an H4 to HID conversion kit.

Just recently did my "G". Steps1) Remove front wheel (rim)2) Remove front wheel well cover. + Tools-Flat head & PhillipsVery easy to-do. Check w/dealer cost was more than $250.00. It takes about less then 20 minutes to remove and replace everything. The rims took the longest to remove.Went to local auto part store to buy the Fog light bulbs. They dont stock HID bulbs. Only specialty shops or inf. dealer.-Sylvania Silver Star 9003 s/t $37.00 w/o taxThe main head light bulb(HID) part number is "D2R" Just type that into any search engine and there is a bunch to choose from. Range of cost for a pair is $100-$199 and there will be a range of intensity's. Currently only replace the fog-lights, still shopping around for the "D2R". Can anybody recommend a good place to purchase one, that would be great! If not, I will let you know how it goes when I buy my pair.P.S. My car is 2003 G35 Sport-Coupe w/Brembo
