which wheel should I go for?

You will definitely be fine with a +45mm offset, like stock, using either a 234/40 or 245/35 in 19. If you were to use a +38 and then drop your car, you might face some rubbing concerns.XenonSE-R wrote:I'm about to repeat the same questions as everyone else, so I'll be quick. - I want to do an Eibach drop. 19x8 5Zigen Hyper 5zr wheels, 235/40/19 tires.
Offset options are as follows - 45, 38, 33, 25, or 23mm
Which offset would be optimal for putting the wheels just shy of flush with the fender? I want ZERO rubbing so I'm trying to do all my hw. Thanks!
Offset? You will have great difficulty trying to get a 10" wheel under there unless you're on a stock suspension, roll on skinny rubber, and have a high positive offset.ghost-alti wrote:hi i am looking on getting some wheels for my alti for the summer does anyone know if this would work.Bolt Pattern: 5 x 4.5 / 5X114.3Front Size: 20 x 8.5Back size: 20 x 10Offset: +40 mm

Will it fit? and what size tires would i be running?
Found a good deal that I couldn't resist..but it will not cause any problem though, right? I will be running 245/45/18 with these..ESP wrote:48mm offset? The rims he is looking at are 1 inch wider than the stock 16x7's. Assuming the same offset, this will make his wheels approximately 13mm wider on each side. Taking into account the 48mm offset and the wheels will be pushed out 10mm further than stock.ESP wrote:48mm offset? Put 245/35/20s on it and you should be fine.scanlessfool wrote:Going to test fit some 20x8.5 +35 tomorrow. I already know I'm going to either have to go with a lower offset or wider rim with slightly higher offset.
Ya, I know. Thanks. But it's such a weak width and eh offset. I would much rather go 9'sLongBeachCoupe wrote:

hi i have 18/7.5 maxima wheels on my altima will 245 40 18 tires fit on themLongBeachCoupe wrote:Ok guys i get a decent amount of emails asking me basic fitment questions on what wheel sizes will fit our Altimas.
First, the bolt pattern is 5x114.3 (some places may call it 5x114, dont get nervous)
Lug Nut size is 12 x 1.25 (make sure to pick up a thin wall socket)
Something that is very important is staying close to the stock diameter of the entire tire/wheel combination.
Check this site out. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html Once you find the wheel you like, use that to find the right tire size.
3.5 Stock Information 17x7.5 26.3" Diameter +45 offset ---> 215 / 55/ 17. This means, the tire is 215mm wide, the side wall is 55% of the width of the tire (215 x .55 = 11.825cm) ... 11.825cm / 2.54cm per inch = 4.655 inches for each side wall. 4.655 x 2 (two sidewalls)= 9.31 inches + 17 inches (size of wheel) is 26.31 inches. (incase you wanted the math)
So for a 20" rim, you could get a 225, 235, 245, or 255 cm wide tire, however, note that when you go wider with the tire, the smaller the sidewall is gonna be in order to fit close to factory specs. And the smaller the sidewall, the more uncomfortable the ride will be.
For 20" rims, here are some possible tires to stay close to factory specs
225/30/20 = 25.31225/35/20 = 26.2225/40/20 = 27.08
235/30/20 = 25.55235/35/20 = 26.47235/40/20 = 27.4
245/30/20 = 25.78245/35/20 = 26.75245/40/20 = 27.71
The ones in bold are the closest to factory specs. You can do the same equation above for 18 and 19" rims
Some specs on 19s19x8:225/40/19 = 26.1"235/40/19 = 26.4"
19x8.5:235/40/19 = 26.4"
And some on 18s18x8 on 235/45/18 will get you to EXACT factory specs (26.3") but 225/45/18 (26.0") is damn close enough and tires are a lot cheaper.
This info is for the 08 Altima Coupe and is a work in progress... Chime in with your fitment/offset/drop
ALL Stock Infiniti G wheels will fit.
Ovrbst had NO RUBS with a staggered 19x9x5 fronts and 19x10.5 rear setup (no drop, that would cause issues)
I will be "sweeping up" the thread to make it very easy to understand.
on my 08' im running 19x8.5 +35 axis mods with a 245/35 on cut eibachs i have absolutly no rubbing. i will be switching to some ArkDesign R8's 8.5+30 very soon....XenonSE-R wrote:I'm about to repeat the same questions as everyone else, so I'll be quick. I'm new to this game as well.
