So it has been brought to my attention that many of us fellow 240 owners need a way to view our fuel pressure. I was going to make something for Nico at no labor cost and provide it for material cost, but I found something on summit that works much better. Knowing your fuel pressure is very critical to any kind of aftermarket parts, or even troubleshooting a stock vehicle, so here's your solution.

That's a total of 21$ for a liquid filled gauge and a place to mount in inline wth your flex lines on your fuel system.

WD brought the gauge and holder to my attention on summit, I had planned to make one but it was'nt this cost effective.

Your welcome broski. Almost all 240 owners who have modified their cars should get this setup. If you have went KA-T ALL of you should have a way to monitor your fuel pressure.

How do you set this up? I'm guessing I would need another fuel line going to the gauge or is it electrical sensors?

Only have the electronic fuel gauge in your cabin. You don't want fuel spewing all over your face if anything goes wrong.

If it's not electronic, keep it in the engine bay.

Use the 5$ part by cutting your fuel line and T'ing it into there, then just screw the 1/8th npt fitting on the gauge, into the 1/8th npt hole on the gauge T. Remember NPT is a tapered thread so use either teflon tape or a thread sealant/pipe dope.

It's a mechanical gauge, its located under your hood.

what size are the fuel lines on our ka24's? I wanna say 5/16" so wouldn't 3/8" be a little too big?

Yeaup, it's 5/16.Lube up and stick it in. Jk, yeah it might be a bit tight.

I'll look around the intarwebs and look for one with 5/16 fittings.

3/8 would be a tad too big, but if you put some vaseline on those hose barb's and really wanted it, you could make it work

I should invest in this. Checking my fuel pressure every oil change because Im paranoid has become a little annoying.

It's a needed investment.

You guys should get one that is liquid filled. The liquid prevents theneedle from jumping around, and you get an accurate reading.

Kinda sketch imo, running pressurized gasoline into your car's interior.. I'd rather just use an oil pressure gauge with an electric sending unit.

^Interior? It gets mounted in the engine bay, inline with fuel hose.

Yeah I dont like doing that. When it's on the dyno you need someone watching that side of the bay and then it takes a second for them to signal the guy behind the wheel to kill it if something happens. And, well, on the street..

They make electric fuel pressure gauges for that. I don't like using an oil pressure gauge for it, the scaling is too high to get a truly accurate reading. Plus, when on the dyno, the last thing Im watching is fuel pressure.
