Use the 5$ part by cutting your fuel line and T'ing it into there, then just screw the 1/8th npt fitting on the gauge, into the 1/8th npt hole on the gauge T. Remember NPT is a tapered thread so use either teflon tape or a thread sealant/pipe dope.Ninjamasta wrote:How do you set this up? I'm guessing I would need another fuel line going to the gauge or is it electrical sensors?
They make electric fuel pressure gauges for that. I don't like using an oil pressure gauge for it, the scaling is too high to get a truly accurate reading. Plus, when on the dyno, the last thing Im watching is fuel pressure.ZiG wrote:Yeah I dont like doing that. When it's on the dyno you need someone watching that side of the bay and then it takes a second for them to signal the guy behind the wheel to kill it if something happens. And, well, on the street..
Make sure they don't cut your wrists, that could be messy.spooled240 wrote:summit should give you a small cut for the reference
