The owner of the site got visited by an ICE agent and a DMV inspector. They told him they had been monitoring the site, and monitoring his emails.

So he went pretty quick to shut everything down.

Supposedly they thought he was importing hundreds of cars, which he was not. He did have his own personal car.

He has not come out publicly about it, but I have talked to him on the phone about it.

Go for it, passing the word is the focus for now. Talks with ICE will be conducted to try and discuss some middle grounds to meet on with terms and conditions before things blow up in their face. Nothing set in stone as of now as the ball is in their court if they want to play or fight the beast.

If it will make you feel better, you and every other tax payer paid for the tow truck to pick up the car, it was billed to a government credit card, at a estimated cost of $200 from what I was told. Funny if you think about it, I paid $400 some years ago for a 300 mile tow on a rollback truck, yet a 30 mile tow costs them $200? Ok.
